The 'Chashmu' Bride.

I have my own status here – the newly-wed – the bride who joined back too soon– the Karachitte, trying to fit in or not trying
They make jokes now and then – calling on to me for confirmation or otherwise – myths & truths – jokes, attached with matrimonial life.
I’m the ‘bhabi’ of the office – young and old – they’d call you beta and me bhabi – it cracks me up all the time
She tells me I don’t look like a newly wed – I peer into the glasswalls, trying to get details from the flimsy reflection on them – she shakes her head, disapproving ‘Koi ring, koi chain hi daal lia karo’
'Chashma kyun lagati ho, lenses hi laga liya karo'
Specs... hmmmmm :o)
I still look like the college kid, don’t I?
But duh! That’s what your wife should look like - the casual college kid who doesn’t give a damn.
