A meet up with Azure and Goonga

I was immensely surprised and excited to receive this invitational email for a meet up dinner by our long disappeared chowk fellow Farhan a.k.a Azure who so invited Rashid (not goonga) as well. My surprise was pleasant as I have been one of the admirers of the man who's described by some as web-dead and my excitement was courtesy the fact that I'd be able to meet a few of my chowk collegues whom I never met. The venue of our meeting was Bolan Saltish at blue area and we enjoyed our dinner outside in a perfect moonlit night.
There was more to the occasion than just the eatables. Yes, I enjoyed the company of two talented software engineers who are equally brilliant in their other life skills. Azure, I found was just a bit contrasting to what he wrote in those hillarious ilogs. His personality had a stamp of decency on it besides he talked less as compared to goonga; another contrasting personality to what we perceive on chowk. Goonga talked expressively albeit with a troubled throat. Goonga shared some interesting anecdotes pertaining to his student life. We talked on a variety of topics ranging from personal intros to professional engagements and from blogsphere to society to politics to media and so forth. Most importantly we talked about chowk which of course was a reason for us to be there. I tried my bit to persuade Azure to come back on chowk which he refused albeit for the moment citing some of his personal commitments.
All in all it was a cool time together and meetings like such we decided to repeat in the future as well.
