Fake plastic trees

There's just too much of frikkin plastic all around us these days, mostly in the shape of polythene bags and bottles. Plastic is perhaps the most hazardous of all the synthetic materials invented by human (wait, has he really synthesized anything but plastic?), yet the most useful and effective next to paper. I have lately developed a strong abhorrence for this material for the way it's slowly and gradually consuming our environment besides overwhelming our lives.

But looks like most of the people have a deep rooted lust for all things plastic. I see them accumulate it just short of quantities that would warrant their reprobation on the day of judgement. And it's not only restricted to its usage as things made to contain dirt and liquids, they won't even let go of a single plastic decorative item they'd come across, no matter how fake and gawdy it looks. They'd stuff their houses with plastic plants, sheets, ribbons and what not. It feels sick. We need an anti-plastic revolution straight away. We seriously do.

But gravity always wins...

Actually it's the very song that inspired this ilog. A fabulous depiction of the 'fake plastic age' we are living in (although in a specific perspective). Radiohead at their best.
