Empty Fine Existence
These blank sheets of paper
Often ask, often wonder
As I stare in dispersion
Invites me they to begin
An empty fine existence
Into lands – unknown!
Arrival of ink with thought
There stands me,
To witness, its story
Of paper and words, in fusion
To see its pain, to see its face
Moments of acceptance
As we all fall, as we all rise
From these podiums of truth
These blank sheets of paper
Cannot revolt, cannot falter
Only this mind and hands
In its empty fine existence
Or smudged passions!

Very nice! it reminds me the last stanza of one of Ejaz Rahim's poems called 'Nirvana' when he writes,
An unliberated poem
Is like Buddha,
Wandering ceaselessly,
Among the states,
In search of the Nirvana'
I'd love to have remembered the entire poem but, Alas! my pathetic memory these day...lol..
