I felt so Happy when he Cried Again

But this time these were the tears of joy. Tears that had been kept in check for years for this grand moment .While they rolled down his cheeks, it must’ve given him a huge sense of accomplishment on achieving something that rest can only dream of !

Three back to back defeats in the finals of French Open but the champion returns for the fourth time against a different opponent. Taking nothing away, but one wonders whether it was his Swede adversary Robin Soderling who had more to do with the lucky break. After all it was Soderling’s Herculean display that had sent Federer’s nemesis and clay court master Nadal packing earlier in the tournament.

Setting that thought aside, it was his faith in himself and sheer persistence that moulded the history in his favour in the end. Luck favours the brave as they say and the clay that had eluded the champion Swiss for so long finally seemed to succumb to his iron will. It was history in the making and an accomplishment that rightly deserved a standing ovation_ A charging moment and victory and I felt elated for the sportsman for bringing about the marvelous feat that exudes immense motivation and inspiration.

His eyes were damp again. But much in contrast to what it looked like when he burst into tears on losing to Nadal sometime back.

Federer is young ( 27 yrs ) and committed and has lot of tennis left in him. I won't go into the debate of 'being best ever' as even proclaimed by my personal fav Pete Sampras but with youthful and hungry Nadal in hot pursuit, it is easier said then done.

Tiger Woods is exceptional and as lethal as a tiger but I do miss Greg Norman :(

what an achievement, what a player & amazing how he kept his fitness level up.

Just one more grand slam and that's it, record will be set !!! but if rafa kept his fitness, he will come chasing !!!!

oh hey, tiger woods won again after a fantastic play yesterday, his first win since coming back after knee operation.

I am afraid your ranting comes a bit too late my friend. While he got the 'frenchie', the 'bitch' is already pregnant :P.

I hope you hate her for all the right reasons ? Not the matter of preferences :) ? But why do I feel a wift and pang of jealousy :D ?

Watched it. Had watched the epic Wimbledon last year and was torn between loyalty to Fed and mesmerised by Rafa. But really wanted him to get the frenchie. And he got. :) Hate his girl though. Bitch! :p
