(continued) Smoking, tension filled life, aerated water, fast food, smog, lack of exercise; all these have been mentioned in the above reflections.Medical science has something to say about each of these.from the preventive point of view, or the curative side or maybe just spreading awareness. Let us too further spread the word for humanities’ s sake.
Environmentally what we are passing to our rural folk,we must keep noted. We, the urban influence are indirectly responsible for changing the lifestyle of a folk. We, being educated, show learned helplessness, letting the negative influences of our synthetic commercial products, pass under our very noses, and accumulate in hazzards. Its time we did something about it,now that the sin of letting these very advertised, popularised products and chemicals reach the rural environs, where people are illiterate and lack the knowledge of the negative and harmful effects of these very products, which they readily use;putting full trust in their urban example setters and try to be like them, and use things exactly like them.Remember urban and rural are interdependent in the ecological scheme of things. And once the ecological balance is upset, we might find ourselves oppressingly crushed under not only our own burden, but also the added rural burden we caused to happen. END
