Nawaz comes back into the picture

Posted: Nov 18, 2007 Sun 11:39 pm     Views: 401    Interacts: 8

Funny how these things work. Both Bibi and Nawaz were BAD BAD people...and I always felt that we should either liquidate them or ban them from politics all together, but I guess nothing in life is fair.

Bibi was actually a horrible choice for Mushy to make and he did it only because of the personal hatred between himself and Nawaz, otherwise Nawaz is hands down a better choice than Bibi. Bibi is just slightly better than having Altaf Hussain or Benjamin Netanyahu as our PM. It was always clear that her tactic was to slowly get in the door while pushing everyone else out by destabilizing the entire situation. She was hoping to gain from Chaos.

In contrast with Bibi, Nawaz is not intentionally screwing the country. He did deliver in Punjab and although I think he's a Son of a Bitch for his poor decisions and actions as PM, I would still rather have him than Bibi.

Thank God Mushy finally got over his ego issue and reached out to Nawaz. I think we are on our way to stability if this deal goes through. Pray for the best.

The thing between Mush and Nawaz is purely personal. There are reports that Mush was interested in deal with Nawaz but was rebuffed. If Mush is to stay, I too support a deal between him and Nawaz. He is better than BB, BB will sell the nation to get back into power. At least Nawaz is patriotic. But America too wants BB, god knows what she has promised them? Possible collusion in a attack against Iran? I think NS needs to be pragmatic, who is worse, BB or Mush? BB, should not be allowed to be PM again.

Catnip...ok maybe that last post was a little harsh....whats so confusing about what I've said?
Posted by Zyxius on Monday November 19, 2007 02:59 am
Catnip...verily you have said nothing of substance except sit on the side and make "shame on you shame on you" type of comments. If you have something to say, say it. Don't just sit there making judgmental comments.

"indeed you are a complex individual (as we all are hopefully), and it appears that you are rapidly undergoing an evolution from 3-4 weeks ago to now."

You expect simple solutions to the problems the country faces right now? The situation is rapidly evolving and I think Mushy has to also. I have said it before and I say it again, I support Mushy over and above these other clowns any day.

"You may think that the mullah surge is a good viable movement"

When did I say that I support a "mullah surge"?

Verily you are a confused soul..

zyxius,

indeed you are a complex individual (as we all are hopefully), and it appears that you are rapidly undergoing an evolution from 3-4 weeks ago to now. There was a time where we argued about the nature of democracy on my blog (sham democracy I said), and now you seem fearful of how masses are duped anyways...

I don't think that BB and NS should have been liquidated, that would just make them martyrs. I think they should have been exposed for the thiefs that they were. And it would have been great if it were an elected government that exposed them.

Alas, at the moment, our democracy is an elitist dictatorship as well. There is no viable movement on the ground that is good for the progress of the nation.

You may think that the mullah surge is a good viable movement, I strongly disagree. Any affinity to fundamentalism (be it secular or religious) makes us regress.

Sadly, even as an optimistic man, I am all out of "but lookie here, this options is viable" scenarios for the moment.

Quite the contrary...I despise both Nawaz and Bibi but in case you haven't noticed, the unfortunate reality is that we are under extreme pressure to get into Phase 3 right away and the options have become limited to Bibi and Nawaz. Mushy remains in the picture the way it was intended he would with Bibi, but my point is that out of the two (Bibi and Nawaz) I would always prefer Nawaz.

Ideally, both Nawaz and Bibi would have been liquidated by a hit team when Mushy first took power 7 years ago...but that is a missed opportunity which I will forever regret he did not avail. What he did to Bugti was lovely!! I love him for that and wish he would have done more of that and killed off the feudals, Bibi, Nawaz and that shitty little dog Altaf.

yaar zyxsius,

now I unnerstand.

between Bibi and NS, I would say Mushy is best :).

For all your experimentation and literacy, I can't believe you support someone as stupid, ignorant, corrupt, and non democratic as NS.

I am, of course, illiterate to the core, as I continue to cautiously support Mushy :)
