A Step Forward!

Posted: Mar 21, 2009 Sat 05:04 am     Views: 203    Interacts: 2

A Step forward...... after sixty two years.
We are savouring the moment when people were heard, first time in the history of our Nation.
Yesterday Nawaz, and Shehbaz Shareef , became heroes for many of us........ Their sheer display of courage.. the directness of purpose ... at times they were more focused at the cause than Lawyers... this is first time ever for us... We have a ray of hope now.
First time we saw that powerless can win too.
Moment when Nawaz decided to lead despite his house arrest and terrorism warnings.... history was forming . People followed him unarmed just onfoot... when they were denied to protest peacefully eat or gather out side... they had no fear they had nothing to lose......... any way.

This a big step for our society where we got so accustomed of being ignored and overruled , that we stopped noticing any injustice. After this successful movement people's moral is high they are dreaming of a better time.
Apathy is disappearing ...... there were two major factors in this revolution, one that we have media that have courage ,especially Geo, Sama, and Royal, and even Din TV were at their best while reporting

More fire and focus came from Shareef's ineligibility verdict.

People were already disheartened and tired with system before Last election ....they reselected their tested politicians to bring change ,... to get their voice heard and with improved performance......... feeling of being used, and betrayal brought them home they did not bargain for this !....This reaction was in all parts of society......... People decided to take their fate in their own hands...

CJ may not solve all our problems but this action will make the way for a fairer system.

Revival of a sovereign society, may be a big goal ...........however one step at a time ...we will get there soon.

Fouj is the biggest hurdle in the way forward. An independent, people backed judiciary will mean no more massacre of school children and citizens of Pakistan. But that is how they get their salaries from Amrika. It would mean no more plots; no more appointment of incompetent and jahil foujis on lucrative p[osts in public offices. It would also mean fouj would also have to come out of their green zone cantoinments and live like rest of Pakistanis.

Would fouj allow this? never. therefore it is imperative for the sovereignity of pakistan that fouj must be dragged in the streets of pakistan witout patloons. Their facesmust be blackened and put on donkeys backward before despatching them to firing squads.

However, there is one thing that fouj can do to show that they have redeemed themselves that they handover Musharaf and all his criminal fouji partners involved in the coup de etat, and theose involved in Islamabad school girl massacre. They must be tried and hanged publically. Otherwise be prepared for the next battle - and aint gonna be pretty.

Sooner than we think but hurdles would come across..America is not going to sit there alone watching what all is happening..
it doesn't want Cheeni meeni to meddle and take away it's share from the cake.
