girls are soo...girly!

Social networking sites like Facebook have taken this "you scratch my back and I will scratch yours" kind of girly philosophy of giving and receiving compliments on looks to a new extreme.

Following was the commentary a female friend of mine received after she had posted her (heavily photoshopped) pictures on facebook. All these comments (denoted by xx) are by her female friends. She then makes her grand appearance in the end (denoted by yy) where she graciously accepts the compliments. In not too distant future she will return the favor manifolds by making similar gushing comments on other girls' pictures. And so the life goes on.
