Lal Masjid Seige
Lal Masjid is a Deobandi mosque affiliated with Jamia Hafsa madrassa. On July 3, a stand-off began between Armed forces and students/occupants of Lal Masjid in Islamabad, Pakistan. On July 10th the military stormed the mosque and gained control. Some estimates put casualty count near 1000.
