I am Huma khan. Well, I can`t describe myself in one word, but other people seem to be able too. "Uncomplicated". I’m mostly OK, have occasional problems and stresses; but nothing out of the ordinary. I’m generally satisfied with life, which is going quite well. I have a very good sense of humour, am popular with others; and feel really positive. I love being around people, whether its children or adults, am family oriented, and my affection for others is always unconditional. However, I just don’t like manipulating things; it doesn`t feel right for me.

My hobbies/interests mainly revolve around Urdu literature, and being a librarian by profession, I am quite fortunate, as there is no scarcity of reading material. I am always mesmerized by the poetry; and also endeavour to express my thoughts through poems.

"the water - is as a mirror - and in the midst - of the clouds - floating silently - on the lake - a lone swan - takes its time - to go nowhere - in particular - simply enjoying - the happiness - in the stillness - of a single - solitary - moment"
(anonymous)

Random Thoughts: “In the life of a man, his time is but a moment, his being an incessant flux, his senses a dim rushlight, his body a prey of worms, his soul an unquiet eddy, his fortune dark, and his fame doubtful. In short, all that is of the body is as coursing waters, all that is of the soul as dreams and vapours: life a warfare, a brief sojourning in an alien land; and after repute, oblivion. Where, then, can man find the power to guide and guard his steps? In one thing and one alone: philosophy."

Favorite Reading: M.Fav. Quraan and any written matterial which can change me entirely.
Favorite Writers: God who writes our fate. and after that all of those people, who love to write.
