I have lived in Bombay all my life except for a few years spent in other places during my husband`s postings. Bombay has defined me, shaped me, made me aware of the world beyond. I love the fact that I am `47-born because it helps me straddle two worlds....
Random Thoughts: Ideas excite me. I am a writer, have pretensions to writing poetry, feel we live in the most interesting times, though the Chinese believe that is not what one would wish a friend. I have two sons and often try to look at the world through their eyes.
Living in Bombay opens one`s eyes to all kinds of contentious and other isues.
As my younger son is involved in organising a peace conference between India and Pakistan, I am finding all kinds of interests in the peace process.
