Random Thoughts: Born in1936 in the Indian side of the Punjab and migrated to the
Pakistani Punjab,have spent 11 years of my life in India and 59
years in Pakistan.Have quite vivid memories of the partition of the Country.Have witnessed Pakistan break into two and the continuing strife between Pakistan and India for the last about
60 years.Perhaps I have lived long enough to witnes a lot of history,that is why I do not like to see History wtitten from the
point of view of all countries,and even that being revised drastically by the same conturies over short periods of time.
Favorite Reading: The Holy Quran, Shakespear`s Complete Works,Dewan-e-Ghalib.
Favorite Writers: GHalib,Shakespeare,Cervantes,Kafka.
