Chowk Staff,
I don`t see how #52 violates the guidelines. Will you please explain? The article is obviously comic and so are many interacts. Salim is obviously trying to be funny here. So if the article can be published here then Salim`s interact should also be allowed.

#48, {``I`d like to see a similar article about Punjabis or Sindhis, but I think I might have to wait a long time. ``}
So, basically you are going to wait for the next Tagore.

#46, anil kapuria {``My vote would be appoint Salim Chouhan to be the resident expert at Chowk for History. ``}
Anil Bhai,
Thank you for your confidence. I decline on the grounds that I have seen many a Chowk appointee bite the dust (Tempy, Saima, the caffeine gang). If nominated I will not run, if elected I shall not serve. :)

Now is the time for my silly contribution to this silly debate...a studpid joke!! We Oriyas love this joke!!!
Q- Why was the partition of India for the greater common good of the Indian nation?
A- Imagine having to suffer twenty crore Bengalis in the country, rather than the mere eight crore that we have right now!!!!!

And people from other states of India are entirely reasonable, of course. And only Bengalis have a high opinion of themselves.
I`d like to see a similar article about Punjabis or Sindhis, but I think I might have to wait a long time.

HA HA HA HA!
Very nicely done. As for the people who took this article as a serious
protest peace, it only goes to show how far this Bengali Pride Parade
has marched-off into the deep end.

Ranjit, {``That way India can actually make some progress instead of being pulled back by these bongs.``}
Ranjit Bhai, LOL :)
The way you and Khamkhwa are treating this Bengali tragedy, I am beginning to suspect that the ISI manipulated the Paki defeat in 1971 merely to get rid of Paki Bongs. :)
Another fast one was pulled on the honest Injuns by the crafty Paki military. They got rid of their bongs and blamed India for the doity deed. :)
I wonder if we Pakis can fool India again and dump Punjab. :)

Ha ha...I guess Sourav Ganguly could convert to Islam, become Salim Ganguly and move to Bangladesh to become captain of the Bangladesh cricket team.
While we are at it, I wish some of his fellow bong communists would do the same and leave India. That way India can actually make some progress instead of being pulled back by these bongs.

... looks like bangalis are unhappy in india... and rightly so.... saurav ganguly has been removed unceremoniously, he who taught them how to look in the eye of the enemy without blinking, having won the maximum number of tests for them is being treated like salim chauhan...if pakistan was a democracy, they too could have done what indians did in 1970-71 to get the un-happy bangalis... bangladesh...a democratic pakistan could have got the indian bangalis a new country too...and then there would be two bangali nations, eventually united into one, and sarav ganguly could be the captain of the team of the united banglaland...joy bangla...;)

Seeing that most Bengalis are Musllim, shouldn`t we be looking for a religious aspect to this saga?
