When I mentioned raison d`etre... i meant Pakistan`s. It is so bloody obsessed with India that if India ceases to exist it wouldnt know what to do. There will be a void. And the fact that you assumed that if I was from Lahore i must be either an Indian or Pakistani goes to show that you cant think beyond these two countries. It doesnt have to be so. My dad is ``from`` New York but he is an Italian citizen. Yes...not the other way round.

PS: Wasif has claimed many times that he is from Lahore. I could care less ofcourse but I assumed that he is a Pakistani... atleast in the conventional sense of the word: a citizen of Pakistan. If he isn`t then I am glad and I apologise for any presumptions.

Now You`ve repeated the same thing (mental faculties, Shankar, Dr Sohail shrink) a third time. Maybe its not my mental faculties that should be questioned.

Wasif Bhai, now you know Yasser`s SOP. He first starts off with a lie about someone and then argues on it vigorously till the said person knocks the wind off his sail by calling his bluff. Then Yasser duly moves on to the next victim and the process repeats itself. Little does he realize that in the process, his own credibility has reduced to zilch and he comes across as Chowk`s resident dunce.

There is nothing to figure out. You claimed you were from Lahore. When one speaks of Pakistan and India one talks of one`s citizenship.

What is my raison d etre? Or are you talking of Pakistan`s raison d etre? I associate with Pakistan as a citizenship. To me Wali Khan is as good a Pakistani as MAJ, because he was a law abiding gentleman. Its like a Bar council. One practises in the Bar council that one enrolls at. If Pakistan ceases to exist, there will be new country, new structure to help maintain and grow but everything requires a shot.

The fact that you showed interest in Aman`s marital life even when she made no mention of it anywhere is an indicator of either your declining mental faculties in which case Shankar our resident shrink should be able to help, or some marital problem in which case Dr Sohail is here.
