And while at it they can bury these despicable Indian chowkies.
If paki fantasies could produce energy, pakiland would provide energy to the whole world..

India: $ 131.0 B
Pakistan: $ 9.6 B
Umm..Doesn`t that make India`s reserves 13 times those of Pakistan, a country a 7th it`s size..that`s besides the fact that the Indian stock market cap is more than 10 times that of the KSE..
Reality..meet the pakis...pakis..meet reality..

Behrambhai does have a point. Those figures speak for themselves. Besides, it`s always good to have someone inspire a friendly chase. Who knows, we might begin to close the gap. :)

Some kick ass data from the latest edition of ``The Economist``:
Foreign Reserves:
China: $ 818.9B
S. Korea: $ 210.4 B
Taiwan: $ 253.3 B
India: $ 131.0 B
Pakistan: $ 9.6 B
%GDP Change
China: 9.9%
S. Korea: 5.2 %
Taiwan: 4.4 %
India: 8.0%
Pakistan: 8.4%
%Change Industrial Production
China: 16.5%
S. Korea: 12.2 %
Taiwan: 9.5 %
India: 6.9%
Pakistan: 11.0 %
Conclusion: Countries working on their Industrial Output are much better than the IT code coolies.
Pakistan must not be deflected by the glamour and crap promoted by these code coolies.

tahmed32: It is estimated that for a single 5000 SF space, solar electric power could easliy cost some $40,000.00. And that is the reason that our city provides upto 75% subsidy. The owner of the establishment has to come up with $10,000. We also have rebates when energy efficient SEER 13 rated air conditioners are used. That is separate from the solar powered rebate. Further, geo thermal energy use is also on the rise, where pipes are placed deep in the ground to get earth`s energy. Then, there is also waste electric powered system, which is getting very common.
Come to think of it. Pakistan could benefit by digging deep underground to bury pipes for geo-thermal power. And while at it they can bury these despicable Indian chowkies. At least we can make some use out of these sorry @ss creatures. Maybe we can also get some electric power from these bio mass garbage.
Just some creative thoughts to help Pakistan in her energy needs.

Did not follow your Punjabi humor.
France is a developed nation and meets most of its energy needs thr` nuclear reactors. That was the point i was making.
India`s energy needs at present must be much higher than France`s but then what India needs are mega nuclear reactors (like the one China is building).
Remember, gas sources are irreplenishable.

#100, Ramanujan {``Turkey, for example, is not a true democracy)... The editor, of course, takes the cake - left wing radical Islamic nutcase with a zero talent in English writing skills.``}
Dear Ramanujan aka Ajeya,
Long time no talk. I arduously support your right to exist as Ajeya and be heard regardless of your views, how you express them, and how you come across. With me it`s a cartoon/limerick thingy. :)
So, please reconsider. Come back as Ajeya and do entertain us with your wild theories and twisted historical facts. I enjoy educating you and who knows one day Ajeya may become Ajmal. :) Peacefully, of course.
I do, however, take exception to two of your more vicious statements:
1. {``Turkey, for example, is not a true democracy).``}
Turkey is definitely a secular democracy. It is really much more secular than India when it comes to implementing secularism. It does not, however, have the consistent commitment to democracy that India does. I hope you see the difference. Hopefully, one day India will truly become secular like Turkey and Turkey will become consistently democratic like India. Inshallah. >/b>
2. The editor, of course, takes the cake - left wing radical Islamic nutcase with a zero talent in English writing skills. ``}
You can offer all the cakes you like to our esteemed editor. She is neither left wing nor Islamic extremist. She is talented more than anyone on Chowk and her English writing skills are an example for all of us. Please don`t let your personal anger over being filtered cloud your rational judgement about a person`s competence, wit, humor, and literacy. But, mor important of all, hang around. You are a passionate interactor and your departure will not be welcome.

This is Ajeya.
As most of you have probably noticed, ALL my posts are being filtered.
There cannot be ANY basis for filtering ALL my posts, since irrelevent and offensive posts are abundant on this website - starting with Behram. The other point, of course, is that ALL my posts are in RESPONSE to other posts.
This is a good illustration of why democracy will NEVER come to ANY Islamic country (Turkey, for example, is not a true democracy).
This is a low-class site with pseudo-intellectuals like Mantolives spouting endless garbage about topics like an ISlamic, Secular, and Modern Pakistan. Talk about contradictions!
The editor, of course, takes the cake - left wing radical Islamic nutcase with a zero talent in English writing skills.
Anyway, carry on your endless garbage.
And Arjun, carry on the good work!
Goodbye

bahram: You are obviously picking up some good practical ideas on alternative energy sources, given that your town is well advanced here. Are you thinking of perhaps doing something similar in Pakistan as a business venture? I wonder how much it costs in Pakistan to install solar cells on rooftops (maybe next time I am in Pakistan I will check with this fellow I mention in #98 who by now should have a good idea).
