This is unsual... hardly any defenders of the faith seen in this thread. Zeena is one but where are most of the others? Perhaps the word Kibbutz in the title turned them off. Very well then, its time to be an apologist... Okay...here is a good one! Who says there is no freedom of expression in the Arab world?

An Arab TV showed a debate recently aired a debate in which a professional Arab woman declares she does not believe in Islam, and favorably compares Jews to present day Muslims. The Arab world watch her live, so can you. Look and hear what she says , English sub-titles are provided.

Like harimau who has been assuring everyone on chowk that the killing of muslims in gujrat was OK since it was revenge for godhra. or ranjit and gujjubania who expressed great pleasure at the plight of earthquake victims in kashmir who were trapped under fallen buildings. and of course pakistan-obsessed characters like arjun and jay thakeray (his predecessor, who finally quit chowk after several years of arjun-like rubbish on chowk).

While we have losers among pakistanis on chowk, nothing compares to this type of behavior. And I am sorry to say that, since I would like nothing better than to see india and indians do well (as much for their sake as for the sake of Pakistan, since progress in the neighborhood is good for us Pakistanis too). The rest of them were all empire builders - and guess what: when the empire they built was finished, India was never the same again. Where there had been primitive forms of government (Kingships, constantly at war with one another), the brits left behind a democracy (OK, the military in pakistan screwed up our institutions, but that is desi babus in action again and cant blame it on the brits).

If that were the case, nobody would mind. There is nothing wrong in poverty, idiocy or powerlessness. These things don`t kill other people. The reason why muslims are a danger to civilized human societies is because they spread bigotry, lawlessness, terrorism and an evil ideology outside their borders. An evil ideology that has no merit today and had no merit in 7th century AD.

I only got a chance to read the first few lines. The trend of the article was pretty clear after that so it was not worth reading the rest – I have no clue why this writer wastes her time ranting and raving so much, especially when she is SO wrong!

I sometimes think that somebody should tie up this author to a chair and not let her out till she completely memorizes and can repeat without breaking the following two paragraphs of what “somebody else” said earlier:
