How can anyone live and believe they are in a cage with only meaningless, unrewarding end?
Life is not at all meaningless.
Your every breath shows God has great purpose for you.
Would God create people just to cuz He had nothing else to do or wanted something to play with?
Does not even a man who “creates” a son believe that childs life has purpose and meaning and his own life has more meaning because of child?
How much more God the Original and Supreme Creator must have given man, the children He created, great purpose and meaning.
Get a grip, dude! There is no need to wander around in futility.
Your quest and the REAL journey of understanding the meaning of life will start when you meet God.
God will lead you out of the cage thru journey to afterlife with Him when you seek to know His glory and use time and talents He gave you. And it’s a GREAT journey!

sorry for a late reply, havent been around for some time, but heres a ques for u.
if we look at what religion tells us then we basically get to options, the end either leads to a whole new beginning as in rebirth and a chance to atone for our sins as in karma.
or the after life, through heaven or hell, but what no religion tells us that, what comes next.
after we are judged for our sins and banished to heaven or hell what happens after that, is the battle between Good and Evil settled once and for all by probably counting the number of souls either side has managed?
and then what, the souls just wander around aimlessly in their respective heaven or hell?
and rebirth, well there is no end to that, its just a cycle as it is impossible to live a life and not sin (at least the way religion defines it) and so the cycle must be endless.
in either case the end seems quite meaningless to me.
