Veeresh,

I think you are wasting your time. Everybody knows who a Muslim is - those who practice that faith or think they do. Everybody knows who an Indian is, too.

If your objective is to attack the Haj involvement of the secular government that is a separate issue and should be approached directly rather than in a weasel-like manner.

I personally have no problem if the Government of India helps out some indigent Indians accomplish what for many of them is once in a lifetime cherished dream!

Make no mistake about it.

Barring nutcases here and there, mostly to be found shouting from minarets, Indians have the best Muslims in the world!

The best Sikhs AND the best Muslims!

And comparing with the overseas lot - perhaps even the best Hindus!

What a lucky country!

This is not about Hindus performing Hajj. This is about the relationship of Indians with a Public Authority called the Ministry of External Affairs.

This is about finding out, using the RTI Act-2005, which is open to any Indian citizen anywhere:-

a) The situation for Indian citizens to apply for a Hajj under the laws of the equal for all secular country of India.

b) Definition of ``Muslim Citizen of India``, for example, and inequalities therein if any.

c) This is not about the Laws of Saudi Arabia.
