They changed their opinions on Hindu-Muslim unity. If they changed their opinions in the heat of faltering negotiations, it means they too faltered, and therefore not superhuman like, and therefore their actions and words need not be cited with 100% confidence. If they always believed that the Hindus and Muslims constitute two different nations, then they were just outright islamic fanatics.

Doubt it. Their support is mostly centered around the Mallapuram district that was carved out of the old Palghat and Calicut districts. They sway with the UDF and LDF each election. In Kerala anyway the voters don`t trust anybody any more so they seem to vote the alternate fronts into power every 5 years.

But - how did MKG became their mascot?... IUML supposed to be offshoot of the original ML - founded by MAJ, PUBH... I mean - A million irony points right there :)

Big mistake... don`t let people stop you from doing what your natural instinct tells you to do... you should generalize Indians as much as possible... big bad indians... mohar-like evil indians... that`s your training, that`s what defines you and sets you apart from the rest.... And we Indians just love that kind of generalisation stuff... :))

Actually Mohar, the IUML is not a bad organisation. It`s just like any other political party. It`s got some hairy folks, some decent folks etc etc... And they couldn`t have gone to Pakistan. Most of them can only speak Malayalam. Wouldn`t have helped in the Punjab, Sindh etc.
Besides why would anyone leave , God`s own country? -)

yes bhagatsingh resisted too and tried to avenge lala lajpatrais beating and so did savarkar...the point is the salariyat who firmed pakistan were the backbone of pakistan movement were used to taking orders from colonials, and are stil at it.

You see... most right thinking people of whatever persuasion will agree with the logic of what I stand for.. even if they may disagree with me on the nitty gritty... Majumdar`s kind words have been a source of support. Indeed it is people like him who stop me from generalising about all Indians being shutaray-be-mohar.

On the other board... I was also pleasantly surprised to see support from people like Bharath etc who have been my critics... there is something to be said about agreeing to disagree with dignity. Now that is something you have got a lot to learn about.

One of the few things I am proud of is that I`ve earned the respect of right thinking people like Majumdar.... Now you wish to ascribe to him a statement he never made. That statement was actually made by dilliwalla.

You see there is a big difference between Majumdar saying something and your saying something. It is a credibility issue.

Not quite. Those who resisted the British - like Bhagat Singh- were sidelined ... Lets not forget that Gandhi was actually a toadie designed as a vaccine against an out and out uprising... which is why India neither became a dominion nor a republic between 1925-1935 ... as was expected.
