Adam Khan:
Zinda raho aur khuush raho.
You are the best thing that has happened to chowk.
from Jahaz-baad sindhi:
K: `` aur barkhurdaar Marx kay baaray mein teraa kyaa khiyaal hay?``
kh: Vaah Marx brathers ko kaun naheeN jaantaa. Bohut khoob hai.
K: `` Mein Karl Marx kee baat kar raha hooN``
kh: `` Uh voh Marx``
..aside...(agarchay ahquar kee maloomat Roos kay baaray meiN aisee heeN haiN, mgar behas krnee ho toa ghantoaN bole sakta hai.)

hahahahaha Bloody Genuine Stuff ; needs to be respected on Chowk;
``Dil ki Baat``..read after a long time...Hope Khabees & Khasi had good Chicken Fajeeta and Hilal Pepsi..By the way where their pocket money comes from? I hope next time you will give a through and thoough outsource of their paternal backgrounds in contradiction to Marx thinkings...That would be more fun to read!
Anyways a lively, healthy and fresh article!

Another brilliant piece Adam! I second chacha Echoboom - writings like this one do not get to adorn this site very often. You certainly have an authority on the many essential ingredients of a good prose. Please keep writing.

Now why did Khabees and Khasi remind me of several interactors on chowk?!

Vadiya Vadiya. We need people like you to remind us that our cousins across the border have an awesome sense of humor. Great work.

I know that apparently some interactors like this piece, but in my opinion, it is too one dimensional...okay, the Marx professor teaches Marketing, but his dialogue isnt as funny as say Steve Colbert satire of the O`Reilly ilk....
As an example, Colbert as an O`Reilly/Buchanan character was speaking to an author who had written a book on the epidemic levels of corruption in US govt and how deregulation had made the Enron scandal possible. Colbert`s response was based on actual knowledge of capitalist theory (not superficial throwaway lines) and those bromides we all hear like:
1. ``Well, the US IS a capitalistic country!``
2. ``Those Enron employees (whose pensions were cheated from them by Ken Lay) were paid for what they worked for, why should they get paid for not working when they retire?``
3. ``Comrade, arent pensions just welfare handouts?``
etc. This reads as too easy....

Brilliant Adam ,
You are very promising; I can see sparkles of brilliants in you. I am from kerala, south of India, your characters are real and with little bit of cosmetic touch up, can be from any where in the sub continent and not just NWFP. Make sure you keep portraying them honestly but without reinforcing prejudices and stereotypes. I am impressed by your style of narration. Its time you start working on a full length novel .all the best.
