Sufi or not, the author describes an interesting mode for self-examination. What book is he talking about?

#7, nasah: Interesting thoughts to cleanse the delusionary religious ideas. But believe me it is a lot easier to line with/in illusion of your choice/happenstance, no matter which, that to accept your image of CHANCE and SERENDIPITY. Even if it is true.

here is what this sufi/scientist `Master` -- has to say about the world and the afterworld -- if it is any comfort to you -- and if that that may help some of you to sleep a little better at night:

What the real Sufi knows thru pure intuition the real uni-brained, non commissurectomized scientist and biologist knows thru experimentation and mathematical calculations --

there is no heavens or hell waiting for us in the after life -- the after life is an entropic chaotic world -- a disorganized world of particulate energy.....

.....a world -- that is impartial, unalive, unopinionated, totally incapable of distinguishing right from wrong --

....a sea of chaos without organization -- waiting for more chaos to get organized -- into forms from formlessness -- into patterns from patternlessness -- into symmetry from asymmetry -- into synchronization from random movement....

....thru ascending and descending coupling and uncoupling of energy in small packets dancing eternally in tandem Shiva`s Tandav Dance of Creation and Destruction....Destruction and Creation....

being born and dying.....thru the direct intervention of the Almighty puppet master and ALL powerful God called CHANCE.....and his pregnant wife called SERENDIPITY.

A real Sufi like a real scientist is NOT scared stiff of Hell nor he or she lusts after heaven -- his or her serenity and poise comes from the knowledge....that where he or she is going there is no life -- there are no 72 virgins or 72 boys waiting for eternal copulation...

.....especially for those stupid ones who missed thousands of boats on earth in the hope of riding 72 in heaven.

the afterlife folks is an organic and inorganic lifeless graveyard -- littered with the remains of billions years of copulation of living things -- from miniscule insects to gigantic dinos -- to writhing reptilians to bearded monkeys....

......no virgins waited for them -- and no virgins are waiting for these stupid Jihadis and non Jihadis among us...as well.

Master is appearing content to you because everybody has that one aspect where they lose it.
Most of the people that I see are really content with their lives are so because they have held to some stubborn principle/passion very rigorously, in most of the cases religion.

There are very few who are content and yet not stubborn about a specific school of thought. They are the true content people though.

Pseudointellect... Do masters protest to mortals who really cannot do much for them? I think the master would be the one that smiles and walks away from conflict and an act of ignorance, would you not agree sir?
Ali Shah

You find him this way because he is this way. He IS. It is the state of being of the person that defines their calibre and position in humanity..

A Master, you find, is self content and well settled in life and in NO trouble of any kind.

You ``find`` him like this or he ``is``

`` Waris Shah mian Rab karm kare aais joag wich museebtan bharian nii ``

`` Maha Dev toon joag da panth baniya karra kathan hai joag muhiim mian
Koar bak baka sawad hai joag sunnda jahih ghoat key ppeni naam mian ``

I once saw a Master mercilessly beaten by the police. He was all red in blood from head to toe.Despite his yelling that ``why are you beating me? i`m a primary school master, not those of shinto or Zen ( heaven knows how many styles they have got) type. And i being a peace loving guy trying to avoid the trouble and keeping a ``mind your own business`` attitude just glanced and kept walking. Then i saw the same drama repeated on indian side as police was baton charging the doctors protesting against SC seats in the institutes.
Later on i heard in the papers next day that the poor guy had lost his mind due to direct blow on head.Nation lost a dispenser of knowledge but who cares ? there are ten thousand others waiting in the line.Chalta hai, Duniya hai. Especially third world where these gory episodes are repeated somewhere on daily basis as a state tool to induce fear and telling the people ``Banday ke puttar ban jao, this could happen to you``.
