Pakistan is going down because of the heady mix of Military and the Mullahs. A sure recipie for suicide.
Once its citizens make a resolve to throw both of them away from the state craft and let civilian democracy thrive I am sure it would find its way to modernity and progress!! Also you need to streghten autonomous institutions like judiciary, election commissions, FBI etc to avoid political interference. I am sure everything would be sorted out then!

Do you think the correction that has been requested above would move in itself and eradicate the slums which have connections to the Parliament?

In short, no business, no illegality is going to be challenged yet again after the next year`s election.

Democracy is a perfect mantle-piece for the money usurpers.

Much awaited revolution is needed, but when?

every single day, hundreds of people in our part of the world risk their lives and embark on journey in search of a better live in lands where are they are not wanted:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/5349808.stm

Asian migrants arrive at Tenerife

``Almost 200 migrants believed to be from Pakistan and Sri Lanka have reached Spain`s Canary Islands by boat. They were found to be tightly packed in the hold of the large steel vessel...``

yet this topic which effects the lives of hundreds of millions of people has not deserved a single article on this website while anti-musharraf articles are published three to a week.

i think we can clearly see what the future holds for this website.

Re: # 5 -- This also suggests dearth of reading the inside pages. Only the Surkheez make it to the minds.

``Insurgency in Balochistan has a long history and centrifugal forces are quite strong over there. The center-nationalists relations’ history is marked by mistrust, fears, and lack of confidence. And it is madness to resolve such contentious issues through bombing, military actions and assassinations.``(author)

to use a 500 pounds smart bomb -- against an unsmart rebellious 80 year old disabled Baloch -- who allegedly was trying to grab at gunpoint the entire province of Balochistan -- is of course no madness --

it is the right thing to do -- especially -- for an Army Sardar called Musharraf -- who himself stole an entire country -- what to talk about a lowly province -- at gun point -- in broad day light -- ran away with it never to look back again......now in its its fifth year of absconding.....

thus a `state writ` being established by burying alive a regional icon -- to prevent him from stealing his own homestead -- of all the people -- by a country-grabbing government hijacking renegade soldier himself -- should look more funnier than -- sheer madness.......indeed!

Don`t you think imagination has gone wild here to suggest smart bombing was used to get Sardar Bugti ? No one else has suggested that at all. Where did you get this info?

Re: # 3
this is the silliest reply I have ever seen on this site e. If you are trying to prove that Musharaff stole this country then look no further than the last 10-15 years before him. Your country was almost bankrupt and Benazir and nawaz were destroying this nation one day at a time. But of course you are one of those people who call Bhutto shaheed and love what the 2 corrupt rulers did to our beloved nation. Just shouting democracy does nothing but give people false hopes. Do you really think that Pakistan would have survived for another 10 years had it still been in the hands of those two idiots. Baluchistan deserved what it got. Probably you dont know but if you were not a Balochi you could not even enter that province without fearing for your life. just because the so called democratic governments did not have the guts to stop that mad man , you were OK with that. Now that someone has finally stopped his madness all of a sudden you love Bugti. Grow up dude and face the reality. Democracy in your country means Nawaz and Benazir destroying it. So relax and let Pakistan prosper.

Shah Sahib,
I will respond with my feedback later. Right now, here is Kularee Sahib`s request to Mushy and the latter`s prompt response as relayed by me. Mulaaiza fermaye. :)

Deummahfication of Pakistan

Started by Kulharee on September 14, 2006 12:30pm PT

When Mushy challenged the laws that regulate vagina movements (i.e., Hadood laws) I was hoping that it was the beginning of the end of the Arbification of Pak land. But now I read in today’s newspaper that any discussion over these laws have been put on an indefinite hold, and the old laws apply. In other words, Mullahs are getting away with murder yet again. We need a leader who is not afraid to stand up for what is right.

Let’s have an open and honest discussion here on this issue and let’s hope that someone in Mushy’s office is taking note of the public sentiment. Here is my open letter to the President.

Dear Brother Musharaf, We do not need divine laws to police our civil affairs. A rape is a horrific crime, and no one gets raped in the presence of 4 males – or most rapes don’t occur in the presence of witnesses. Few may do, but most don’t. Therefore, there is no need to shove Shjaria laws up a victim’s ass. Please show some shame, and ask the Mullahs to show some respect to men and women of Pakistan.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Kulharee the Patriot

15 September, 2006

Office of the President,
and Commander-in-Chief
and Minister of Defence
and any other office that matters,
General President Pervez Musharraf
Islamic Government of Pakistan
786 Shahrahe Jinnah
Islamabad, Pakistan.

Dear Mr. Kulharee the Patriot (are you from New England?) :

Slam Alaikum.

Thank you for your polite letter and open intercourse regarding the very impotent issue of rape. I am in full agreement with your sediment and will go beyond that to state that in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan there is no room for any sex whatsoever, no not even rape.

Just like you, I find Shariah Law to be a real pain in the ass. However, unlike you, I am not sitting in the safety of Jackson Heights. Instead I live in Pindi and work in Islamabad - always in danger of having jihadi dynamite sticks inserted up my rectum by remote controlled advanced MMA technology. In fact, I have taken a lot of heat and Preparation H because of my stand against rape. That is why I negotiated a favorable treaty with US and Canada for visas for rape victims.

In fact, can you please do me a favor? I cannot hold on to power indefinitely, thanks to the nexus of the unshaven Mullahs, shaven feminists, and bright young Paki barristers. I understand, from your Shinakhti card, that you are a Mirzai or Quadiani and because of that you were able to get a US visa on humanitarian grounds of mental asylum. No, don`t worry, I don`t care about who is a Muslim or who is not - I myself take a few swigs of the forbidden sweet nectar of life. My request is for you to show me how to get a US visa or at least some pointers on how to become a Mirchai to obtain such a visa. It sure beats my plan of getting raped in front of four of my colleague generals and then going to Canada or US.

Thank you again,

Sincerely yours,

General President Pervez Musharraf
President of Pakistan
Commander-in-Chief
Minister of Defence
And Any Other Title of Significance

Enclosure: Completed Application for US Visa

Mr. Shah,

Punjab bashing never went out of vogue. Blaming Punjab has always been a convenient excuse for Altaf Hussains, Bugtis, Mengals, Marris and Wali Khans of Pakistan. Politics of hatred suits them, since they are unable to offer any vision of development.

But disagreement is your right.

General election is just 13 months away. The masses know who overtly supports Musharraf (PML-Q), who covertly supports him (MMA, MQM), and who categorically opposes him (PPP, PML-N, Baloch/Pashtun/Sindhi nationalists).

The masses will cast their verdict, like they did in 2002. We should wait until the verdict is cast, before predicting Pakistan`s future.
