Definitely, a well researched article. But i would like to share my views as well.
Yes, masses have always been main concern of the tycoons but not for the good. Only for their own evil deeds. CSR is nothing more than a `me too` rethoric in corporate world. as you already quoted Pakistan Tobacco Company Ltd.PTC example, the damage is far greater than their contribution to the society but ironically they get more media space on this and seldom criticised.
