hamidm <<< .............. but have you noticed that the americans have won most of the prizes announced so far - the taliban and other suiciders and homiciders have not won any................ how do you explain this phenomenon ? ...... >>>
Maybe if you answer the question, how many potential scientists are lost to infant mortality and lack of primary education in Muslim lands, and what the cause of those are, then you might begin to understand why the Muslims dont win prizes in this age. Add to that race and religious prejudice and you will also begin to understand why Muslim scientists of old don`t figure out in current day text books that present an amnesiac history of the sciences. To downplay the contributions of your opponents has been the hallmark of the West, unlike those Muslims I was talking about who went through a lot of trouble to spread the ideas of intellectuals that didn`t belong to their group.
Next time you refer to me as Jihadist, know that I am just as much a jihadist as you are a pimp trying to whore your mama. If you are ok with that, then I am willing to look past your insinuation that I am a Jihadist, that goes for your friend okhla as well.

masadi,
..... i know that you are waiting to receive your nobel prize for the ground-breaking and earth-shattering work that you have done on the elite theory of nothing .............. but have you noticed that the americans have won most of the prizes announced so far - the taliban and other suiciders and homiciders have not won any................ how do you explain this phenomenon ? ....... and don`t tell me it is because muslims have deviated from the true path - sirat ul mustaqeem might lead to heaven in the hereafter, but it certainly leads you to misery and hell in this life ..................

Respected Hamidm,
Kindly refer to your
<<< i do think that i am a lot more objective than mullah masadi - somehow, i have this mental picture of him sitting in a rat infested basement, surrounded by marxist literature and al-qaeda pamphlets, nibbling on government cheese, pulling out his hair and foaming at the mouth ........>>>
I swear I had not read this before my ``mouth foaming Masadi`` post.
But the mental image I had formed of Masadi was reasonably similar.
Aint it summin...what a coincidence.....

Respected Zeemax,
Kindly refer to your #535.
<< Masadi and echoboom both are right >>
Masadi can never be right. You are damn right most of the time. Sometimes even you are bloody wrong. This is one of those times.
The Masadi mindset needs to be removed from the face of this earth. Do not pair up with the devil incarnate. He will stab you at the earliest.
Respectful regards.

Respected Harish_hyd
Please refer to your #508.
Thanks for correcting me. Your Masadis are as evila as our Masadis. Remember, I have always said ``evil`` and never ``dangerous``.
Your Masadis are like Modi (pogrom to kill Muslims) or like Sadhvee Ritamatabhara (I am not too sure about the spelling).
And in your great functional democracy, the eyewitness to the Best Bakery case was convicted and jailed (Zahira Shaikh).
Please go after your own Masadis. There are plenty of them. In Senas. As Thakrey cronies. As whatever..

Arre Masadi,
You had promised that you would not come back. But you have returned. Looks like your own words have no meaning for you. If you cannot be true to yourself...
I was discussing your fundas with some young engineering students. I told them that this gentleman called Masaddi Laal was a mad mullah who thought that McGraw Hill Prentice Hall etc were into printing Bullshit and that real intellectual stuff was available at asadi.org & lulu.com.
Can you guess their reaction Masaddi ???
I also told them that Masaddi Laal believed that main stream media like NYT, BBC, CNN, TIME etc was all crap and real information was available only at asadi.org and lulu.com.
Can you guess their reaction, Masaddi???
One of them has lovingly coined a verse for you :
Masaddi Laal nay kiya kamaal,
Pehni Dhoti, Banaa Rumaal
Deekhnay lag gaye uskay Gaal
Kisi ne danda diya daal
Rone lag padaa Masaddi Laal.
I think that was a bit extreme. But students can be cruel in their criticism which is not superficial but is truly heartfelt.
But I do believe that Pakistans future lies in technical & medical/ scientific students who are amongst the best in the world. I also believe that in spite of folks like you Masaddi, Pakistan will occupy its rightful place in the comity of nations because of our young. Who do not blindly worship Jinnah, who do not blindly hate India and everything that it stands for, and most of all, who are capable of reason and rational thought and actually believe in the strengths of Pakistan. These are young men and women who are willing to contribute. Not curse from the sidelines. Nor do they run away at the slightest hint of opposition. Like our Hockey or Cricket Teams, they believe in their own strength and invincibility. They do not believe in mad mullahs.
And Masaddi, you have read what they think of you.
Go back to Lululand where you are a real ``professor`` in a real ``Institution`` with real ``students`` carrying out real ``RESEARCH`` and recieving the real ``NOBEL PRIZE``.

Now I`ve heard it all, the Bhand maximus outdoes himself: He is holding up hamid and oklha as talking rationality when the former has his ``proof`` in the sushi restaurant, and the latter can present his only argument in the form of repeting `lulu.com`- meaningless nonsense, and then this third fool tahmed holds them up as proving something. How dishonest can a person be? But then you expect such behavior from those who worship the West, that is notorious in its long and bloody history for lying shamelessly to enslave people and their minds.

Universal `white values` of treating the vast majority of `colored` human beings as animals? Of wiping out indigeneous folk and looting the world through colonization? Of destroying whole countries based on lies? Of seeking to destroy the globe for a quick buck? Of hypocritically talking about other`s weapons of mass destruction while being the only ones to use atomic weapons on civilian town? Or the `white` values of how to serve sushi in a respectible manner? You are pathetically ignorant when you talk of `white values`~ there are no such color-line values except those of plunder and pillage as defined by this race`s elite. Muslims on the other hand gave the world the scientific method, that was what I was suggesting Muslims return to, not to the things you mention which have nothing to do with Islam and which were being done on a much larger scale by those outside the group of Islam, including your white masters at that time.
Regarding universities, it is well recognized and accepted that Al-Azhar was the first full fledged precursor to the modern university, as were the madrassas in the Ottomon empire as far as state organized formal education goes. Who they produce is not an argument. US universities have produced many criminals and mass murderers as well, Yale is notorious for that, one woke up in the White House just this morning.

Snippets which gives us some idea how westernism is being ousted ever so gingerly , effectively, and efficiently.
There used to be a time when one would allow a westoxicated one in polite company. I think the time has come to show them the door whenever they are spotted around muslims.
They must be relegated to be the status shudar or pariahs...they have worked hard to earn
this ``honor`` by promoting condoning, nay gloating, about their fondness for drunkenness, incest, adultery, and their pride in being modern, moderate and advanced.
May Allah protect their women & children from their devilish-designs.
and now for some good news:
Muslims winning EVERYWHERE.
France:Les Mureaux gained notoriety last year when it became the first municipality in France to offer benefits for second wives in polygamous immigrant families. The incident followed the arrest of a man who drove his car into a police vehicle after being chased for a traffic offense. As the man was being taken to the police station in another vehicle, the latter was set upon by a crowd. “There were around 250 people – very angry and very hostile,”
Spain: will no longer burn effigies of the Prophet Muhammad. Muslim armies occupied Spain from 711 to 1492. For the past five centuries the Spanish have traditionally celebrated the 1492 liberation from the Moors (as the Muslims were locally called) with local village festivals during which the battles against the Moors were reenacted and effigies of the Muslim prophet – the so-called “la Mahoma” – were mocked, thrown from the windows, and burned.
Last year the town of Bocairent near Valencia decided to discontinue the tradition of centuries. The town did not want to risk becoming the target of Islamic suicide bombers. On Monday the Spanish newspaper El Pais reported that this year the other Valencian towns are also abolishing ancient traditions which are perceived to be offensive to Muslims

bjkumar #502 I checked to see exactly what you meant by referring to me as Bhishma pitamah, and see that it refers to a highly respected (on account of honesty, integrity etc) personality in the Bhagavad Gita. I dont think writing posts on chowk merits such august comparisons though. In fact, I think most people express their views honestly on chowk - the trouble is that those views themselves are distorted by the human tendancy to reject facts that run counter to our existing prejudices. So the real challenge is to remain open to new facts and thus modify our views accordingly. I dont know where I stand with respect to others on chowk in this department, but I try...but thanks anyway for this comparison, overly generous though it is.
Now, I need to go down the list of other chowk personalities in your post where you find parallels with in the BG, and so learn a something about the BG in the process.

hamidm #537 Like those battlefield medics trying desparately thumping chests of the victims and calling them out of their coma back to reality, you are indeed untiring efforts to redeem lost souls on chowk. Your selfless service will be duly reported in the dispatches to the Big Headquarters in the Sky and no doubt somewhere up there Allah smiles down on you and Okla. But there comes a time when you have to let lost souls go. You just cant bring them back to reality anymore. Doesnt mean you cant have a bit of fun on chowk with them - just dont expect little things like facts and rational thinking stand between them and the makebelieve world they live in.

Muslims are tenacious and don`t give up ... It is towards removal of inequities and they have won.
right..which is why palestine is free from occupation, kashmir has banegaed Pakiland, saudi arabia is no longer controlled by America etc etc..
now that your country has agreed to negotiate with Taliban.
Is it delude-yourself day in Brit-Pakiland?
reality...female of the canine species..

I’m currently overseas visiting our troops in Afghanistan, but I wanted to take a moment to address an Associated Press story titled, “Frist: Taliban Should Be in Afghan Gov’t.” The story badly distorts my remarks and takes them out of context.
First of all, let me make something clear: The Taliban is a murderous band of terrorists who’ve oppressed the people of Afghanistan with their hateful ideology long enough. America’s overthrow of the Taliban and support for responsible, democratic governance in Afghanistan is a great accomplishment that should not and will not be reversed.
Having discussed the situation with commanders on the ground, I believe that we cannot stabilize Afghanistan purely through military means. Our counter-insurgency strategy must win hearts and minds and persuade moderate Islamists potentially sympathetic to the Taliban to accept the legitimacy of the Afghan national government and democratic political processes.
National reconciliation is a necessary and an urgent priority … but America will never negotiate with terrorists or support their entry into Afghanistan’s government.

Hamidm, thanks for your consideration in stating I`m just suffering from temporary insanity. Actually I don`t agree with that but thanks nevertheless. I see a big quality in your statement which is `hope` in people, albeit in your own way.
Actually, masadi and echoboom both are right. Muslims are tenacious and don`t give up ... because they have a direction, and it is not towards the caves nor to deprive people of internal plumbing or personal hygiene. It is towards removal of inequities and they have won. You have to accept that now, or later ... but you`ll in any case accept that in the end.
So I really think you ought to refrain from badmouthing Muslims now that your country has agreed to negotiate with Taliban. Your big bad cowboy could not defeat these Muslims.
Thanks.
