I agree with Kal -- this article lacks coherence -- perhaps the good writer has entered mid life crisis -- like Rushdi in Satanic Verses -- with Niagra of varied thoughts -- running like a swarm of mice helter skelter in every other direction.......someone should call Dr. Sohail.

Man this isthe most convoluted article, and am yet to locate its head and its tail! May bethe immigration officers at passport control in Ameerika and LHR have either end!

Dasgupta sahib, couldn`t make head or tail of this essay, other than that people migrate because of economic reasons, and that people don`t like immigrants because of their fear of the unknown.

Perhaps you will have time to explain if there were other things you wanted to communicate.
