``The gang which nearly set off rockets near the Presidency turned out to be local boys led by a retired brigadier’s son. ..............
Exactly. But you missed it was also said that these were the masterminds. So were the attacks on Musharraf who were air-force personnel, and the attack on Shaukat Aziz who was a tailor from Attock. None had any Arab or even Afghan links. So why/how do you say ``cannon fodder for Al Qaeda``? On what evidence?
Like I said in a previous post, this is where the twain meets. That`s Islam.

That`s true Kaal. Did you read #323? Biggest mistake people make is in believing in static nature of things. Nothing is static, and no empire lasts forever. It looks like the world will soon see an elephant lazily turning over on its side and in the process upsetting the entire apple cart. Above anyone else, India must see that. It is a great civilization and must make it`s place in whatever new order emerges.

So now you want kashmir too :)... Wishing for ``full control`` of afganistan is one thing, but kashmir? come on, you shouldn`t be that greedy, you know... not good for health... :)
Anyway - like you said - the rising tide of islamization is indeed in full swing... here is what is happening in pakiland... of course, you know about it already...

Good times for you pakis, eh?...

VRV Bhai,
...I think Eid/Ramzan month had worked on Zee. He`s making some posts that are readbale....
Thanks. I am an Ahl-e-Eeman. Even if I didn`t fast, the spirit of Ramzan works. So no more gaalum-galuch for me :-)
BTW .. VRV .. that attack on Manto`s family was far below the belt. Now don`t come back with my episode with Hamidm because that`s between me and him. If he apologises for cheering bombing of Lebanese civilians, I`ll apologise ten times in return to him.

...there ain`t nothing india can do about it - right?...
Wrong again. There`s one thing that India can do ... and that is to give Kashmiris the freedom of choice and to stop killing them. That`s the least they can do. Otherwise the initiative which rests in India`s court now will be snatched away.

I was going to write: ``Taliban would exist without Pakistan, and Pakistan would be much weaker without Taliban.``
Then I read: ... both are indispensible for each other...
As always, ustaad ji nailed it. :)

So YLH, why is return of taliban a self-correction?... I mean - I know why zeemax and other pakis are ecstatic about it, but you are secular, moderate man... how come you are supporting the taliban?...

I don`t think so... you pakis have always tried to be too clever by half... and always brought disaster on yourselves... repeatedly... and yet you have learnt nothing and you are doing it again... You know the definition of madness, don`t you?.... :)

I think Eid/Ramzan month had worked on Zee. He`s making some posts that are readbale, though the essence of the posts are of the same Zee-mark but the language is moderate.

Rising tide of islamization indeed... but how does india`s ``cooperation`` comes into all this?... I mean - if pakiland is going to talibanize and islamize - there ain`t nothing india can do about it - right?...

It is not riding the tiger at all. The tiger is one and the same. Just a few minor differences. Remember what I wrote:

#342 Manto
[A few days ago, I wrote about how Karzai was writing to Maulana Fazlurrahman and Asfandyar ... given their historic lineage ... now he is making peace with Mullah Omar... ]
Manto knew it all along, it seems! No wonder he has been trying to ingratiate himself to the khakis - finally!
As the Mushy looks down, he wonders - ``what`s that slurping sound coming from my boots?!! And what`s that green donkey doing down there?!``
``Oh, it`s only Manto practicing what he does best!!``
(Sonds from down below:) ``Slurp, slurp! Gobble, gobble! Yum!``

Read #347 :-) This is what India needs to understand and cooperate with Pak. Noone can withstand the rising tide of Islamisation of the region ... and Pak is destined to play a vital role in keeping sanity all around.

[...once their confidence is gained and the anger subsided, they can be taught and coaxed from the extremes of extreme...]
In other words - ride the tiger and then get off when the job is done... and then ``teach and coax`` the tiger to be a purring pu88y cat.... and you pakis just happily retain ``full control``[not just some depth] over afganland... :)
brilliant!!!

Re: # 345
I would think that the return of taliban would be considered a red flag, a huge setback for people of pakiland and their future... I would expect pakis out on the street protesting it... The elites, liberals and people who claim to work for moderation, secularism, democracy would be screaming blue murder...
But instead what we hear is cheers and celebration ..... in fact, this extremely regressive situation is being celebrated as ``self-correction``... return of taliban is a ``correction``.... Hamid Karzai`s predicament is actually a ``correction`` of past mistake of ousting the taliban...
Un-f888ing-believable...
