All I can say is that it is high time that the Congress govt. is given the boot. It`s penchant for robbing the fruits of the labor of hard-working people and handing it over to cronies to seed it`s next election campaign is well known. This cockamamie scheme is but one such instance.
That wretched party set India back by centuries when it monopolized power in the 50s 60s and 70s and 80s and is all set to repeat that performance. A pox on the Gandhi family.

Out of the 95 million Muslims living in India at the time of Partition in 1947, 35 million Muslims stayed behind in India. They stayed behind because they considered India to be their homeland; they gave up their lives because they believed in the secular ideals of Gandhi and Nehru.
ROFL.. :-)

It is tempting to help liberation of Indian Muslims but one should be practical if all Indian muslims come to Pakistan then can lead to internal bloodbath. Look at poisonious relationship betwwen MQM and native looser Sindhis. They hate each other, all minorities hate Punjabis. Getting involved in aFGHANISTAN has given calamities and permission for foreign powers to lob missiles and to cover that we have have to we did. Kashmiris are also oppressed but help has not helped just giving vicious Indian woman to dissect Pakistan violating international treaties and invading other country and no body shed tears for regression and dimunition of pakistan. Even our best friends China and USA ( Mao and Kissinger) discussed that indian process of cutting of pakistan in India nonchalantly as a matter of factly. They did not give damn to efforts of Gen. Y.Khan or appreciated him for giving first fair election in life of nation. All our good deeds are rewarded by ingratitude by USA and China. China could have attacked India for its best friend or USA could have bombed out India like Iraq. At that time India was so useful to usa as there was no high tech and computers. Some time we pakistani`s are too romantic and emotional and slogan becan to take real life. We felt very had for Kashmiri Muslims and this last 54 Years of epic struggle has has led from nowhere to nowhere and in that struggle we lost East Pakistan. We should be even careful about any body even china as they stabbed at Kargil struggle by supporting Indian line of ceasfire and both usa and china began to say what we gained on ground was lost due to our friends. China is also useing Pakistan as just market for finished goods and decimating our industries and we can not say, they are taking misadvantage. China finds us as useful tool to trouble India but we want to be used as cannon fodder by usa and China is question. Our rules want to be used as a cannon fodder and fodder has no value. Out side world had been very cruel to pakistan from start and our actions did not help. I urge let Indian Muslims liberate themselves, they had chance to Join Pakistan they made wrong decison and are suffering and as there is no justice so no peace in India as Muslim revolt will soon start and leading to civil war and that time Pakistan can provide atomiuc bombs to Indian Muslim Liberation front. But time being its good to keep gun power dry and wait for situation. Rajastan and gujrat can be good addition to Pakistan as they have good oil and more exploration will lead more oil. But its time to built storng army , navy and airforce and slowly field 2 million men and when indisn civil war starts go just like that vicious Mrs Gandhi did but time is not now but when indian is burning by internal strife and wait patiently like Vulture to pick up dead or dieing country.
At this time start dirct getting involved India can damage national assets in B.Stan by blowing pipelines and electricity towers. We need to wait for 32 years when There is going to great opportunity. At this wait and watch is optionalso we should note that our enemy is going to do same in Rural sindh and B.Stan. This night we should be careful and do not get involved in Liberation of Indian muslims. We should spend time on producing new culture than our culture developed by blasphamous indian moves. Damn Indian k0ves, burn them to dust which has produced our men and women as indian apes and just look like indians. They are dark they should be sahamed and we are better white but we like to copy them shame of us. Any way its night, time is bad , patience is virtue. Good day.

#20 yeah, that is a laughable sentence. its never easy to leave. those who stayed back did so because a) they did not know where pakistan was b) did not have the moolah and connections to do well in the new nation of pakistan or c) felt they had too much going on whereever they were to make a move (in other words not worth to move). author is making it out to be somekind of a giant political statement.
the article is indeed poorly written, but does ask a weird question at the end. who are those who are supposed to make muslims feel like they belong? muslims either feel that they belong or dont. how does it relate to their relatively poor standing?
muslims as a community were indeed part of india for the long time and were part of its teeming masses. a few privilaged were rajas and nawabs but most others were weavers and piadas and ordinary peasants. if they as a community will do well, they will do well by their own initiative and style.

Presently India is going up in leqps and bound and making wealth but for indian Muslims it ``It is Darkess at NOON`` sorry indians for troubleing Muslims``. ( title is taken from Novel by Arthur Kostler- a novel about oppression in communist state). India is miserable place they have elecyted communist govtment infact first communist govt was elected by Indians in Madras state with Brahmin commie their chief minister if I am correct. It country of carzies who elect godless athist subhumans and communists.
Also there are many good pakistanis in IT only indians do not kniw as they do not accept indian clients as they do not pay for work done. Also most succesful IT companies do not want to come in open to protect their clients. I suppot Mr. Behram in this matter.

``The Sachhar Committee report, to be released in end-November, states that the condition of the majority of Indian Muslims is worse than that of even the Dalits. It recommends, among other measures, an allocation of 15% of all government funds for schemes aimed at benefiting Muslims.``
My question is: Why single out Muslims for such studies? Indian constitution recognizes 22 Indian languages. If it is found that speakers of a particular language constitute X percent of total population and but they have access to only X/2 percent of jobs, would then a ``Committee`` recomend X percent of all government funds for schemes aimed at benefiting speakers of this language? Or for that matter if a similar study shows that Jains hold disproportionately lower percent of jobs compared to their population then would it be valid to recommend special funding of schemes targeting Jains?

What`s that river in Egypt called?]
Denial is when you refuse to take either the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) or the State Board as your curriculum but opting for the Oriental School Leaving Certificate with Arabic as your language as most Muslims do even in enlightened Tamil Nadu. That would have gotten the girl a burqa, a husband by the time she is seventeen and a baby by eighteen.
If you study in the State Board (easier curriculum) or Central Board (tougher), your choices open up.
You can continue to deny facts.
Sir Ismail Mirza had no difficulty becoming the Dewan of Mysore (ruled by a Hindu maharajah). On the other hand, Mohammad Ali Jinnah could only be an ambulance chaser in London and Bombay.
That is a reality you have to accept.
PS. I notice you do not have any statistics on the percentage of Muslims who are suicide bombers... not just India, but worldwide. Let me venture a guess: 100%.
PPS. Any of those Brit-Pakis your family by any chance?

`` Muslims who are suicide bombers... not just India, but worldwide. Let me venture a guess: 100%.``
So, they should all be killed and hated. Great!
What a great Gandhi legacy: make generalizations and dramatize to achieve militarized violent ends.
Also, it’s not the first generation Pakistanis who are angry, but their British kids who propose violence, being away from their roots brings the worst out in them, I suppose.
But what do you care about such ``stuff`` go ahead and marginalize more ``non-Indian people`` who don`t look and think like lord Kali.

So you`re saying we shouldn`t hate suicide bombers or people who condone islamic terrorism...
sorry..the world isn`t buying that...and pakis might delude themselves in their echo chamber of self-delusion but reality strikes the minute you land at a western airport with your paki passpost...and instantly get singled out for ``special`` attention...

By all means hate them and kill them, especially if they make up 100% of all Muslims...

Mrs Manto: What would the J-Man think about the quirky paki law requiring 4 male muslim witnesses to the canadian visa thingy?
Can`t imagine the j-man would be pleased with how his country has abandoned his ideals...and how his country today is best known for it`s islamic terrorists and institutes of islamic terrorism?
