Re: # 4 The nerve of you to say something like that. I am a single mom and my son is just as masculine as kids raised by someone who has a father around.
Ibrahim was just a nice guy with a soft heart. My hats off to him for taking the time to listen and not giving up.

I think what made this interesting for me was that I have come across so many similar real-life situations where I was either an observer or a confidante of one or the other gender party of such stories.

My two cents... women have stronger survival instincts in emotional crises! Even when they appear so weak and vulnerable they still play along well while fully capitalizing on whatever little support they can get hold of. For them loyalties are multi-tiered... the top-tiered loyalty always superceding the lower ones. The trick for men is ... first, to understand their own place in this hierarchy and secondly, how to become the top priority rather than linger at a level where they could be conveniently discarded when women make practical decisions... Easier said than done, right!!!!

Its quite a ordinary story not any more intersting than thousands of men who come cross hundreds of women not as lovers but as coleagues..

onlly thing these men are NOT women abuser as few men

otherwise being not an abuser is not an exception but majority of men love women

and the demon that they are made into by femenazis is distorted

Assuming its not autobiographical, I think the story gives an interesting insight into the psyche of a man brought up in the company of women and trying to prove himself a man by being the pillar of strength. The fact that the central chartacter is unable to form lasting relationships and has been unlucky in love might be attributed to his own wrong perceptions. People often confuse dependence with love and are disappointed when their perceived `love` is not reciprocated. Perhaps if he focussed on finding love, rather than playing the psychologist for every damsel in distress and then letting his feelings take over, his love life might be more fulfilling.

All in all, an interesting concept and a good read.

Ibrahim bhai,

... you sound more like the ``rebound guy`` ...

If you don`t know what it means, here`s an explanation: there are not 2, but 3 sexes: men, women, and ...

your tendency to comfort girls of all ages seems to have put you in a rut, all of these girls gone their own separate ways and you still continue to comfort more!!!.....will you ever get the message that your comforting members of the opposite sex is bound to hurt you?...doesnt seem likely yet...

Interesting story. Our unlucky hero`s repeated failures with women is due to the fact that he does not know how to be a real man, a problem that`s unforunately all too common in today`s society. A relationship expert on TV said an interesting thing. She mentioned that a lot of men in this day and age have been raised by single mothers and this has led more and more men to grow up to be less masculine. These kind of weak men are neither desired nor respected by women who will respond to even abusive jerks over them (ever heard of the `nice-guy` syndrome`?). Women constantly bemoan the lack of real men today yet the irony is, it`s the feminist revolution that has rendered them extinct by stripping men of their masculinity and self-respect.
