I remember traveling by Jeep to Umerkot in the mid-70`s, when I was all of 7 years old. It was a decent size town in the middle of nowhere. Living in Dubai the the early 90`s I came across many Sindhis whose families were from that part of Scinde, but who had been driven out or had chosen to leave (ostensibly on religious grounds). The despotic junta that rules Pakistan should put its money where its mouth is and return that looted land to its rightful hiers.
