#118 Harry,
Aap ki inayat he. :)

When things are going so badly, the best recourse is humor. Unlike the PPPs, I am a realist and don`t believe in self-delusion (or throwing bricks for that matter). Thanks.

#36 tolkinin from ``A Nation Reborn`` Thread {``A leader of a faction of the Jamaat Uleman Islami, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, criticised the move to make Das the acting chief justice. A non-Muslim cannot head the supreme court in an Islamic country as a non-Muslim cannot head the government, Haq said.
...Das is the only one among the supreme court judges who has a masters degree in Islamic law. ``}

Tolkinin,
Shri Bag One Dash ki Jai! :)
In my opinion, he is well-qualified to be CJ or even President. The only thing I have against Shri Bag One Dash is his education in Islamic Law - the term itself is an oxymoron. :)

As to my response to Maulana Sammy Owl Hack, I can only say:
``I will agree with you about a non-Muslim not being able to hold the highest offices ONLY if you are prepared to declared all Paki Punju Paindoos as non-Muslims - not just the Ahmedi ones.``

But you see they owe their existence in politics to the mobilisation that Gandhiji brought to them..

just like the entire country of Pakiland owes it`s existence to the racist-etc-etc policies of racist-etc-etc gandhi...

Hahaha! I can see why Yasser`s chaddis are on fire...perhaps it brought back painful memories of what started off as his attempts to insult my family members, but ended up insulting his own mother and wife...ROTFL!

Dear Harish mian

``looks like still haven`t forgotten the insults very easily`` .... ``wittiest and funniest ilogs I ever wrote... fumbled for a response``

Aww... that was supposed to be funny? I suppose a professional inside joke because most normal people don`t abuse their mothers. Btw you never did answer if you looked like your father instead?

But thanks for reminding me of it, it was one of the wittiest and funniest ilogs I ever wrote and the way you fumbled for a response, I could imagine what your face would have looked like when you read it....ROTFL!

Looks like still haven`t forgotten the insults very easily, I set your chaddi on fire so long ago (November 7, 2006 to be precise), even I totally forgot about it, but looks like it`s still burning...LOL!

I know that you`ve often made excuses like the kind you are accusing me of... and it is understandable why you assume that I did not legitimately had to go. As for your other claim.... the board is still there, you are still missing in action.

Sure..we all know how when it gets hot here, you have some urgent business that requires you to stay away from Chowk..LOL! So have you been able to Google any ``hotshot Paki engineers``? No? LOL!

... especially your manifold references to that occupation that leaves one wondering about your family background.

Hahahaha! You`re trying to bait me? Suffice it to say that your frequent references to orifices and feces only confirm what I`ve for long suspected is your khandani vocation.

harish mian,

Weak as usual. I know that you`ve often made excuses like the kind you are accusing me of... and it is understandable why you assume that I did not legitimately had to go. As for your other claim.... the board is still there, you are still missing in action.

My references to metaphorical faecal matter (a euphemism for ``shit`` in case you didn`t get it) don`t even come close to the abuse you routinely shower here and for which you routinely get banned... especially your manifold references to that occupation that leaves one wondering about your family background.

That is very weak... and not really. Go back and see that it is you who have absconded.

Yaar Yasser, you saying it is weak will not make it. After all, it has been proven over and over again that you vanish with your tail tucked between your legs when confronted with facts, like the last time you disappeared into some god-forsaken country ``where there is no GPRS/Internet``. I had to open a thread to enquire about your well-being (well, sanity is more like it!). The same happened when asked to name some ``bigshot Paki engineers working for major US companies``. Agreed it is your profession to lie, but trust me, you don`t have to do it everywhere, even on an anonymous forum. No one is going to tweak your ear.

I don`t think the rest of your post deserves a response, because I think by now, everyone understands that it is your diatribe with constant references to orifices and feces that stink up this place, and is enough to put off potential interactors.

Harish mian...

That is very weak... and not really. Go back and see that it is you who have absconded.

As for your claim about ``stinking up the place``... please consider the statement again. My calling spade a spade does not stink up the place... it is the metaphorical spade (i.e. the impugned faecal matter) that is stinking up the place.

Poohresearch #89

The contradiction emerges only in your head. Some people have lost their mind because of my use of the word ``boycott``. Boycotts are actually constitutional tactics- walking out of the assembly in protest and staying away from the courts (and should not be confused with Gandhian boycott of foreign goods or MMA`s boycott of fast food chains...)

Being the part of the boycott of courts (as in refusing to appear before them in protest) actually is a constitutional tactic... so I am afraid Gandhi has no copy right on the term simply because of his aversion to foreign goods ....

Just two examples....

To quote an Indian newspaper on Jinnah, who was a constitutionalist in his approach to politics:

``Right till the late 20`s he continued working for his liberal line. When the British Government appointed an all-white commission called the Simon Commission to review the Government of India Act of 1919, the country was temporarily united into a telling boycott of which Jinnah was a front-rank leader. ``

And from the Time Magazine in 1941....

Walkout
Monday, Nov. 10, 1941 Article ToolsPrintEmailReprints
Meeting this week at India`s magnificent capital at New Delhi, the Legislative Assembly, top representative body of the Indian Government, found itself shy 26 of its 141 members. The 26, members of the Moslem League, most important political party in India after Gandhi`s India National Congress, had walked out in a body, led by the League`s astute president, monocled Mohamed Ali Jinnah.

Stated reason for the walkout: to protest against the way Britain and the British-run Indian Government were handling the defense of India in World War II. But the gesture meant more than just that.

Fifteen months ago India`s Viceroy, Lord Linlithgow, made a desperate bid for Indian cooperation in the Empire war effort by setting up a kind of Cabinet, an Executive Council, eight of whose 13 members were ``distinguished and representative Indians.`` Neither the Congress nor the Moslem League were consulted in the move, and both have since freely charged that all key jobs in the Council went to Britons, that the Indians picked were tried-&-true yes-men for the British Raj.

When Jinnah and his followers took their walk last week, most observers felt that it was chiefly a delayed-action protest against the Council. But it also seemed clearer than ever that if Britain wants more than lukewarm cooperation in fighting World War II, she must do more than talk about settling India`s problems.
