Is this Pakistan’s Democratic Revolution?
Umm..no..the paki junta will simply bend over...just like the dictator bends over everytime a wind blows from washington..
in any case, the US needs mushy to bomb the tribals and pick up pakis with jihadi proclivities for a ride on air gitmo...so he isn`t going anywhere..

[King Gyanendra had assumed total power in 2005 but the nation-wide uprising in Nepal burst out in February 2006 when he tried to hold ‘rigged’ elections. All sections of Nepalese society came together and seeing the people’s revolt, even Gyanendra’s allies like India and United States adopted a ‘people first’ policy.]
The idiot UPA government in New Delhi, dependent on the steady drip of jism from the Prakash Karat`s dick, agreed to the inclusion of Maoists in the new government of Nepal... from whom even the Chinese were distancing themselves. In fact. it was not India`s Foreign Secretary or Minister who was sent to mediate in Nepal but a functionary of the frikking Communist Party of India, showing the entire world Manmohan Singh`s shriveled testicles which had been separated from his body long long ago.
[Pakistan’s military-led establishment is already worried by growing India-US ties and the progress, however slow, in solving India-China border problems. India’s growing ties with Pakistan’s traditional allies in the Middle East are another cause for concern.]
The slow progress in solving India-China border problems will be entirely to the satisfaction of the Commies of Jawaharlal Nehru University. China`s Foreign Minsiter has said that the current borders are the historical result of colonial powers exercising their control over the populations of China and India. The only colonial power in Tibet is China, a fact conveniently ignored by the thugs in Beijing and their fellow-travelers in India`s Foreign Ministry and at the JNU.
I really hope that the Chinese triumph and take over not just the borders of India but also the entire fukked-up country. All the JNU momofukus would be sent to re-education camps to learn to sing the praises of capitalism. People like Aparna Pande would be gang-raped before being sentenced to 28 years in a labor camp like the Chinese are doing to Tibetan nuns.

[I want to know who Aparna Pande is. She writes articles after articles on the same kind of topic on chowk but never participates in any of the interacts.]
Aparna Pande is a graduate of the Nehru-Gandhi Koksukking Institute otherwise known as Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Typical of JNU graduates, she writes articles (and probably books in the future) filled with half-truths and will not engage in honest debate.... because she wouldn`t recognize intellectual honesty if you served it to her on a silver platter with watercress around it.

Aparna, let me give a different spin to your opening line:
“The only person one can fool forever is oneself!”
Contrary to your dreamy-eyed assertions, that Mian Mushy is no fool – after all, how many leaders in the world have managed to make hay from virtually everything that has happened, even from the tragic events of 9/11?! But a similar verdict is difficult to pass on those bleeding hearts who are going ga-ga over that tamasha-ongoing-in-Pakistan being forked over as “revolution”!
Let my try to wake you up a bit gently, my lady! The Pakistani khakis respect nobody except themselves – they especially detest the civilian leaders – and they do not really give a hoot about popular will!
Pakistan is not ready for democracy because most average Pakistanis in the streets still hang on to that exclusivist mindset that created the country in the first place and most average Pakistani “intellectuals” are too powerless to do anything about it except to make a conscious bid to look away from that – that very unpleasant fact – when they are not actively engaged in covering it up!
And here is some sweet, sweet poetic justice for the likes of the Manto!
This whole tamasha is going to come cropper – all for nought, unless…
Unless the masses of the black-coats stick to the path of passive, non-violent resistance, then there is no telling where it might lead to! Absolutely civil, non-violent resistance...
Just like a certain great man did in the subcontinent during the 1920’s, the 1930’s and the 1940’s!
You hear me, blackcoat!
Loud?!
And clear?!
So tell us, black-coat – how does that crow taste?!!
PS: Aparna, it was smart of you to include the quote from Ayesha Siddiqa-Agha – the redeeming feature of your otherwise ho-hum write-up – and a lady that I have been a fan of ever since watching her lecture on C-SPAN! :)

Repeatedly offering space to authors who habitually absent themselves from discussions is a mistake on Chowk`s part.
Someone needs to call a boycott against all such august personages.

BJkumar,
I am afraid you are again way off the mark....
If we tried to emulate the exclusivist and bigoted tactics of the racist casteist hindu fascist Gandhi... we would need another Aryan Mahatma to fight another war to put pressure on our regime to cede our rights... because Gandhi did not achieve anything...
Pakistan`s revolution is spontaneous... everything has its own time and bourgeoisie in Pakistan has reached that critical mass... following Gandhian topi drama will only delay it like the half naked freak delayed independence in the 1920s with his ridiculous ``mass`` fraud...

I am little suspious about recent indian producing these articles
1. Trapped, surrounded, quarantined or just reading too much into it? by BHASKAR
DASGUPTA
I get the strong feeling that Pakistan is definitely under the microscope, if not under
quarantine. Not a good feeling to have, I am afraid.
2.
Is this Pakistan’s Democratic Revolution?
Aparna Pande
3 Some body wants to have ``Sin`` day as Kufer Day
Is this attempt to by some partial people who may be receipt of some ``help`` from GOI to make trouble in neighbour`s house ?
I am really suspious such slippery who make propaganda cleverly against Pakistan and magnify problems in Pakistan. Now every body knows some Afghan and Indian officers in Indian Embassy in Jalalabad and Kandhar are more interested in giving rewards to and encouragement to Pakistani terrorist organizations in B.Stan. Instead of doing honorable work of issueing visas these officers are issueing bomb especially for blasting pipelines. Foreign office has clearly stated Indian govt is involved in blast operation.
Now DasGupta and Pande is company is doing similar ``atmospheric`` activity to spread depression and despair by writing such article and hoping for collapse of state of Pakistan.
Let me tell Mr. Das Gupta you are clearly over reading. Nothing is happening in Pakistan which is showing potential problem. Every thing is fine big G has opened and soon its is going to oil center like Rotterdam in Europe. Soon 15 meter depth channel will be cleared. And largest crude carrier VLCC and all other little ships can be handled and these can birth along port jetties. Big CLCC`s oil will be transposted ( 250,000 metric tons) in few hours and pumped to China and India. Kindly look at those giant chinese cranes they can handle any number of containerships very fast. Your bombay culutta port people will cry when they see huge pictures of those cranes. Its near Iran border and all indian shipping going through can be stooped and india will be in trouble. Few days ago PM pushed button and modern tech developed by ``khan labs`` started making sweet water fron sea water. Can India develop such plant ? India has no such plant. Little troubles means nothing but just a society which alive. You people make mistake so keep this line in your mind.
Ayub, Y.Khan, Buttto, Zia comes and goes but pakistani people and pakistani state under present leader goes ahead.
There is no power on earth which can broke nation when people are determined to advanced and step to next to higher phase.
For Pande.
Again KEEP in mind NOTHING HAS HAPPENED and NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. There was no democratic revolution, there is no democratic revolution and there will be in democratic revolution. So people hoping for problems, violence and revolution ( all revolutions are bogus) should go home.
Instead of kuffer day it should be called Saitans day. These are very bad suggestions, there are trouble makers who want to start liberal attitude and want to find some excuse start drinking alcohol, Zina sex, drug parties ( contribution of indian moves and some greedy cinema houses want to import Indian movies full of valgar dances, singing silly things dancing like crazy and drug induced happiness- which is good kind of happiness, watching television than doing work at home helping parents and eating while watching TV, watching wrong music videos, looking at bad and obscene things on internet, , smoking ,nasha alns all stuff. This what is idea of secular and liberal and thet is why I am against such sinful ideas and liberals. It has become so bad now when anybody like me says against drugs, zina sex, indian movies , valgur dancing of nach girls in indian movies they look at me as if I am mad man who lives in cave. Now some say I am too suspious and paranoid but we are living tough neighbourhood of Rogue India ( atomic bomb), A.Stan ( always problem making people) and iran ( new bombwalla nation) and american army in A.stan. Only way to survive in such tough area is to very suspious and paranoid.
Again Pakistan is doing fine and Foreign invest is poring in. Indians should worrry about dangerously collapsing state of India.
Good day.

Madani sb.,
Indian obsession with Pakistan is nothing new. It is almost as if they would lose a rationale for existence... if they did not abuse us on a regular basis.
Case in point: The cancer clot I tackled below lives in a country which was founded by exclusivist slave owners and puritans but which evolved into a great democracy. His country of origin is a country that has for many millenia discriminated against large mass of humanity in the name of varna caste system... Yet he barks day in and day out against the formation of Pakistan... which came only after we had exhausted every other option and which was formed on the principles of equality, fraternity and justice for all... in comparison to the founding principles of his country of residence and country of origin, Pakistan`s founding principles are far more progressive and liberal....
It is no wonder then that he is upset that Pakistan is about reclaim its own founding principles of constitutionalism and egalitarianism.... so he must- like a true follower of the racist casteist hindu fascist bigot Gandhi- abuse Pakistan.

Re: # 10 Pakistan has no problems. There is NO revolution , its just romantic feeling of liberals and seculars to have chance to make riots and make violence, shout and throw stones. Its mostly romantic revolutionary talk and and liberals farting and thinking that farting as explosion. Those who talk of revolution are interested in destabilizing present military govt and make troubles and blow up rail tracks and gas pipe lines. President can expose all this bluff and will expose and punish and whip all rabble talking and brick throwing loywers, miserable people. What General need is to whip liberals till they loose romanticism about imaginary revolutions and start working hard and lwayers put to hard work ( who make troubles) and make them first time to work hardway. If general whips few like gen Zia did all fuzz of all revolutionary will decipate quite fast as china did to hot headed students who mage trouble several years back. Liberal and secular need to right sized and they will now there is no free revolution - bad liberal who want to start violeence.

Dear Ahmed,
The ``revolution`` that I am speaking of is not mass uprising or throwing regime out over night... but a permanent revolution vis a vis the independence of judiciary... which has come about.
That is the most important revolution... and permanent revolutions are always subtle.

Pakistan`s revolution is spontaneous... everything has its own time and bourgeoisie in Pakistan has reached that critical mass...
This turncoat would put even the greatest turncoat in Pakistan`s history Musharraf to shame. Not long ago, this freak was singing praises of Musharraf as having brought enlightened moderation to Pakistan, and now he has abandoned the man and jumped on to the anti-Mushy bandwagon. What a fraud!
..following Gandhian topi drama will only delay it like the half naked freak delayed independence in the 1920s with his ridiculous ``mass`` fraud...
Yasser instead would love following the `constitutionalist` fraud, Jinnah by ``petitioning`` the British government for freedom and watch India`s independence delayed by another 200 years. Like Jinnah sent the average Abdul to die as cannon fodder, while puffing at his cigar, drinking whiskey, a roaring practice to take care of and never going to jail, similarly Yasser hogs the limelight on foreign news shows, while his colleagues fight the police and get their skulls cracked.

Dear Harish mian,
You are an abusive liar. You`ve just proved it again.
1. I`d like you to show me exactly where I was singing praises of Musharraf... I have been criticising him for many years for not allowing the transition... and all my articles are decidedly anti-Musharraf.
2. Jinnah was not ``petitioning`` the British Empire. He got Indians the rights to be officers in the Indian army... unlike Gandhi who recruited them to be cannon fodder in World War I. Had Gandhi not come about... India would have won dominion status and self governance much earlier... around 1925 or so... Gandhi was introduced specifically by his British masters to control both the constitutionalists who wanted dominion status and the massive rebellion that would ensue if that would be denied... Gandhi thus presented the perfect distraction and the British held on to power for atleast two more decades than they should have.
These are the facts... facts which have a most acidic impact on people like you.
