#128 Posted by masadi,
masadi wasn't it cheerful robots instead of cheerful morons? :)
I actually agree with you to the extent of 'cheerful robots' .... but the agreement ends there !!!
Then you write:
we need people consciousness and people power, only then will the people be independant enough to discover Islam for themselves....
Wouldn't you need cadres for that? And where're you going to find those if not from the 'CVIs'?

The main news item is :FAKE YOURSELF INTO HAPPINESS
Pathetic isn't it how they manage the people's misery in a system designed to benefit the few, and yet call themselves "enlightened" and "civilized". Whatever happened to the value of "The Truth will set you free"?

masadi writes: "the generations to come will be talking similar BS..."
So, "generations to come" are going to be dummies too!! Whew!! what a relief. It is future generations too that will be talking similar BS, not just us dummies on chowk, not realizing as the All-Knowing Masadi continues)...
...not realizing that these are public issues having to do with a social structure that is not indigineous but determined from outside...
Not to be outdone, Bulleye writes: a close friend told me that the isi plans..
With such All-Knowing, Always Right posters (or should I say Super Posters) like Masadi and Bulleye on chowk, the rest of chowk can only stand by humbly and pay homage to these chowk gods -
ommmmmmmmm..shanti..ommmmmmmm!!

#121 Posted by masadi,
And yet you don't agree with what you call 'Crusader Version of Islam'?
What will happen is as follows:
The Supreme Court will pass the judgment that the presidential elections were totally illegal and musharraf was not eligible candidate etc given the clause numbers so and so of the constitution ... BUT however, since the elections have ALREADY taken place and THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, the results hereby stand!
Believe it or not, this has happened before in case of the Junejo elections. So there's a precedent.
Then, musharraf will take oath as usual and Allalh Allah Khair Salla. Assemblies will be dissolved and the military junta will rule again through their proxy president's power of article 58 2(b), and whatever assembly emerges next will be a rubber stamp (as always except for the short period this article stood expunged during NS tenure).
I.e. of-course ... till the guillotine parks are set-up.

#120 hamid writes ".... you remain as clueless as ever ...... i never said musharraf is a better choice than bb, ns or even fazloo ..... all i am saying that since the politicians don't have their act together it is a moot point ....... "
It is not that the politicians don't have their act together, it is that they have to operate under the gun of the military, which is under the gun of the Americans- under these circumstances they do what is expected of them, and what is expected of them if they want to survive that is, is not to look after the people of this country but to serve their masters and receive kickbacks in return- such a political setup will always be corrupt regardless of the person occupying the position of power. When you have an economy in which all the growth in GDP is consumption driven and the consumption increase is due to a rapidly increasing population and the lifestyle of the few ultra rich who receive dirty money by selling the country, and where you have net negative exports, and debts up the wazoo, that means that your "growth" is going outside the country to feed those whom your institutions are serving even as your people go to hell.
You all can talk all you want about politician x and politician y, and dictator x and dictator y, the generations to come will be talking similar BS not realizing that these are public issues having to do with a social structure that is not indigineous but determined from outside, in other words the status-quo generating machinery is oiled, serviced and gassed by the US elite, otherwise it would have broken down long ago...

(note that i did not mention imran khan as a possible candidate)
