Too crude for your finer sensibility, huhn?... well, your fellow-paki started it - so don't blame me...
But your outrage is noted... now, begin the charity at home, apply it to the fellow pakis first... In fact, had you pakis expressed at your outrage in time, pakiland would not be in the situation it is in today...
Any case - enjoy the coming taliban rule... :)

Agreed. you forgot the ministry of religion. also, Pakistan would be better off if we simply paid these government babus to stay at home rather than come to "work".

SR# ..."River Indus was always the natural western border of the “Indian Subcontinent”…"
....i think, one can divide south asia into the following high level regions: south india, hind (north india), punjab and afghan.......
......the boundaries of afghan was always the river indus.....in fact, pakistan owes its existence to some young british officers who took away the afghan regions of what was to be pakistan, from afghans......
.....punjab was an entity of its own - neither hind nor afghan....it was independent for about 100 years of british rule in india.....even in the 1857 war, punjab did not erupt and its military sided with the british....without the help of punjab, british would have surely lost......
pakistan, thus, is not really an organically created country......the only true full civlization in pakistan is sind....
.....otherwise pakistan is quite like three european countries, out of which you mentioned yugoslavia:
1. it is like belgium...which is not a country, with its own civilization, but is, infact a combination of a chunk of france and a chunk of holland (and a tiny chunk of germany)......the govt. has been unable to bring it together, and their are serious talks of the country breaking up, peacefully, a la czeckoslavakia (?), into two or three parts, and then, perhaps even joining their mother cultures.....
2. yugoslavia and ussr: if my info is correct, there are (were) only three countries in the world, where one province/state has (had) more population than the rest of the provinces/states combined.....ussr, yugoslavia and pakistan......we have seen what happened to ussr and yugoslavia......
.....complete de-centralization of power is a good idea....the pakistan govt. is, itself, the biggest obstacle for progress amongst people.......e.g. nearly all of chowk crowd is from islamabad, lahore and karachi (and expat from these places)......i think they (we) would be least affected if swat, waziristan, or even peshawar were on their own.......it might even make things better......

Why are you so concerned, brother? Rejoice, don't lament.
River Indus was always the natural western border of the “Indian Subcontinent”… The land between the Oxus and the Indus, as I’ve reminded you before, is really a tribal buffer zone between the old Russian sphere of influence and the South Asian subcontinent proper.
It was the handiwork of Sir Mortimer Durand that is the cause of the problem. The best thing the Islamazad government can do is to offer autonomy to the region (West of Indus) under its current jurisdiction and then let the various regions live in harmony like brothers. Let the 'west' get their oil and gas revenue and pay them for it. Punjab can sell them food in return. What is wrong with that? A forced union will only make bad things worse.
Back in the mid-1990s I wrote…
“…situation in [Pakistan], seems to be heading the way of Yugoslavia with Punjab as its Serbia…”
It was obvious then and it is even clearer now for all to see that if we don’t stop doing what we’ve been doing then we have Yugoslavia’s fate to show us our future.
Frankly, the “average people” of Pakistan have no stake in continuation of the existing rotten status quo. The people of Pakistan need true liberation. Freedom from the shackles of an oppressive, colonial style state machinery is not going to come from any kind of reform. It can only come by systematically and diligently dismantling the central governmental authority.
Department after department (commerce, industries, water-power and natural resources, education, health, welfare, tourism, information, interior – along with FIA, IB, ISI etc., etc., etc.) needs to be shut down, their furniture auctioned off, their office space rented out, and the employees sent home with pink slips.
Justice, defense (not offence), foreign relations and monetary policy are all that should be with the center. Everything else should be under regional jurisdiction.

It will soon be when Mehsud/Fazlullah and their bunch of satyagrahis capture power in Isloo
Majumdar bhai, it will be fun to hear what Borivili yaar's views would be when Mehsud decrees that he be whipped for making use of the Internet, which they (the Talibanis) probably consider is a western conspiracy to lead true Muslims astray :-)

Harishbhai,
(The folks caught in the sting operation in Srinagar were politicians and policemen, all Kashmiris)
Oh no... are you and Borivilli mian suggesting that Kashmiri men are eunuchs.
(Maybe you mean to say Pakistan isn't really a Muslim country)

Borivilli mian,
(But man to man you can never defeat the muslim as 1000 years of your history shows.)
But we Hanuds dont need to beat the Momins, why bother? The kanjaroons are doing the job for us- in Dhaka, in Lal Masjid, in Mirali.
(That day the lakhs killed and centuries of struggle under hindu/sikh rule will be redeemed)
Kashmir banega Pakiland is passe, it is now Isloo/Pindi banega Baghdad.
(Your manly troops also raped women in your eastern provinces)
Your manly troops also raped women in YOUR Eastern Provinces..... oops sorry they were merely improving the gene pool of the kala Bangalis.
(if you can do this to your own citizens)
Do what? Burn 3,000 girls in one day with white phosphorus? Bomb their own villages using helicopter gunships?
Regards

....even make them sex slaves as a recent sting operation in Srinagar showed, that is what eunuchs do.
Yaar Borivili, with this one line you showed that you can go to any extent just to win an argument, even lie blatantly. The folks caught in the sting operation in Srinagar were politicians and policemen, all Kashmiris, none of them from the Indian Army.

Umm...Bangladesh and Kargil aren't 1000 year-old, they're just recent. Maybe you mean to say Pakistan isn't really a Muslim country in which case I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Mohar that is precisely what I mean with hundreds of thousands of troops you can rape the women and even make them sex slaves as a recent sting operation in Srinagar showed, that is what eunuchs do . But man to man you can never defeat the muslim as 1000 years of your history shows. This is also precisely why we will support the Kashmiri right to independence, which along with a free Palestine is the goal of muslims. And the Kashmiri memory of such acts on the part of your so called soldiers is why Kasmiris will never consider India their country and will break away as soon as Indian troops are reduced.
That day the lakhs killed and centuries of struggle under hindu/sikh rule will be redeemed
Your manly troops also raped women in your eastern provinces
And that is why Pakistan and Bangladesh rightly are wary of you if you can do this to your own citizens others have to beware.

Borivilli mian,
(what kind of eunuchs are you hindus you couldnt keep a few thousand safe even with 700,000 soldiers?)
You tell us. You could not keep 3,000 Mominas safe in Jamia Hafsa- Lal Masjid.
DM sahib,
(This is fine as long as the US is on friendly terms with India)
Why should this change when Injuns by and large are friendly disposed towrads the Yanks?
(India tomorrow earns America's hostility by actively campaigning against an attack on Iran)
Why would India do any such thing.
There is nothing for India to worry about with US troops in Pakistan.

india has handled itself very well vis-a-vis the US unlike pureland(that has let itself be a complete female of the canine species)..
you can clearly see that..even a meaningless vote against iran was made out to be a huge concession..
a lot of india's dealings have been on it's own terms..the pakis, otoh, just take whatever crumbs are tossed their way and then go on to bomb their own people under US pressure...

arjunm#166:
Please read again what I said. My comment related to the US elephant setting up an abode in the neighbourhood. This is fine as long as the US is on friendly terms with India, but Americans are known to be the most fickle of friends and if India tomorrow earns America's hostility, for example, by actively campaigning against an attack on Iran, the US forces will be too close for Indian comfort.
I have never said India should surrender its interests to Pakistan. I would have supported Indians pursuing jihadis into Pakistan or bombing their training camps if they ever did that.

Some Indians might feel happy at the prospect of Pakistan getting its just desserts for sending jihadis into India but that would be a mistake.
sorry...you people keep making the claim that a civil war in pureland is bad for india but never come up with any convincing arguments to back that up..it's always "it'll be bad, trust us"
I, for one, am greatly enjoying pakis whack pakis..
