To Imran Khan: God bless you and every one of the thousands of Pakistanis who are participating in the democracy movement in Pakistan.
You are the true Pakistan Army, and one day our brothers in the army and police will salute all of you rather than arrest you!!

Imran Khan,
It takes guts to say what you have said, and to do what you have done.
My prayers are with you.

Imran Khan,
You are perhaps the most sincere political figure that is there in Pakistan right now, and thats why I have immense respect for you.
Your position with respect to Musharraf is very clear and I agree with that wholeheartedly. He should resign and restore pre martial law judiciary.
Sadly, thats where my support for you ends. Despite conceding the fact that you are perhaps the most sincere political leader in Pakistan, one thing is sure viz that you are a reactionary figure and your whole politics revolves around this fact. Had you been a true leader with vision beyond the day to day events, you would have given a roadmap for the country in black and white, and thats why I am not very much enthused by you. And this is the sole reason that despite much temptations I have never considered joining your party.
But as far as your current struggle against Mushy's martial law is concerned, you have shown great courage and I salute you for that. Everyone of us should do whatever he or she can do to oppose the barbarian rule that people of Pakistan are living with right now. God Bless you..

imran sahib,
..... if it wasn't for mrs hamidm, who was your sister's class mate and is a big fan of yours, i would tell you to stick it where it hurts !
..... you have made a fool out of yourself and it is really sad to see your tamasha ....... grow up!
...... anyway, i wish you luck ........

ts #6 Would you rather I be a terrorist cynicist like hamidm?
#9 Posted by tahmed32 on November 15, 2007 5:40:25 pm
hamidm: he who has the last laugh is not the fool. so it all depends on who has last laugh - the dictator or those who seek to restore democracy.
btw, what was that "news item" you had cooked up of imran khan begging to be arrested - seems like musharraf doesnt think imran khan is a joke at all otherwise he wouldnt go through the trouble of getting his maulvi friends to help catch him.

Imran Khan if you can repeat with me-
"It is a grave sin to murder idolators and mushriques. Jehad against idolators is wrong. It the greatest sin to loot and take idolators as slaves. "
Then I would think that you have a sense of civilization and humanity left in you!!!

"Urging the Students to Take the Path of Jehad and Shahadat-
The themes of Jehad and Shahadat clearly distinguish the pre- and post-1979 educational contents. There was no mention of these in the pre-Islamization period curricula and textbooks, and the post-1979 curricula and textbooks openly eulogize Jehad and Shahadat and urge students to become mujahids and martyrs.
The following examples illustrate the point.
Learning Outcome: Recognize the importance of Jehad in every sphere of life116
Learning outcome: Must be aware of the blessings of Jehad 117
Must be aware of the blessings of Jehad, and must create yearning for Jehad in his heart.118
Concept: Jehad; Affective objective: Aspiration for Jehad 119
Love and aspiration for Jehad, Tableegh (Prosyletization), Jehad, Shahadat "
-The State of
Curricula and Textbooks
in Pakistan
Making Imran Khan as a khalifa would hardly change Pakistan because the roots of Pakistani turmoil emerge from JEHAD which is taught to every Pakistani child.

Khan sahib:
You have always managed to be in the news, however private you, your affairs or involvment had been. Therefore, I have been able to follow, atleast what came out in the press, from your and my student days in England.
I have seen you on the pitch, when you stubbornly stayed on the pitch, fully knowing you were clearly out to the best of you, when you raised and created a wondeful hospital in your mothes's name - I contributed when you came to Silicon Valley Banker's club.
Your mother too, would wish you to do where you can make the difference, cricket charity. I might add bringing changes in Pakistan through female empowerment, education reforms and improving economny.
Politics is not your forte. Use your strengths where you can make the difference, and bring the World Cup of female empowerment, education reforms to Pakistan.
I hope you are reading.

It is sad all leaders are not saying a world about kashmir, not even world. This kind of things lead to defacto agreeing to Kashmir staus under indian occupation. BB , NS, Big KHan, Fulzur R, all PML(Quiad) not a single word. Everybody know if real democracy has to come then Kashmir question solved acceptable by state of pakistan as without that war is 300% coming. Till that question is not sold due idealogical nature of fromation of pakistan and as defender of faith army can not go back as then its is constant warfare going on. As a protector of pakistan their main and foremost interest is survival of pakistan not constitutrion which is nonperforming document and in that sense it has not done it is supposed to do.
It is sad all have forgotten Kashmir or it is already written of after military success and deplomatic debacle of Kargil little action. We have no possible chance of democracy unless kahmir question is SETTLED for ever. Either all investment of of 60 years and great sacrafice made by people are and were waste or we should have new leadesrship which will raise army and inspire army for final encounter with india and solve problem , no point in prolonging agiony of k people and pakistani people and nation. Now army is ALWAYS ( non officers) against any war against indian terrorists or home bred terrorists. Now one should not blame poor farmers punjabi as he wants to avoid war , as what he expects ? Any glory of riding on tank and entering Srinagar he is not interested in tha he just hope will be back alive. So We should support any leader who will inspire this young man to fight and sacrafice with kashmir in hand with "rivers" in safe control India can can be trated magnomiously and given little of Jammu to allow yhem go back home. In long term till kashmir problem solved its all worthless to work for democracy as it will not exist. Good morning and good day.

madani: How can you talk of freeing kashmir when all Pakistan is occupied and Pakistanis are killing Pakistanis?
God bless (or whatever) your enlightened moderate general who doesnt want to be President but is being forced by his blunt speaking underlings to remain in power. :-(
Good morning and good day to you too.

Re: # 13
Sure, re-claiming the "lost muslim land" of kashmir would enable Islamic TNT to re-affirm it's success as the ideology of Pakistan!!

Imran is still going through the grinds. JI and its sister organizations are infested with ISI and police agents. They form the backbone of alquaeeda. Infact, alqaueeda is the other name of Jamaat Islami.
The islamists and the army are together again. The farce is now over. Any one can see that battle in Pakistan is now between the liberal, moderate on one side and the islamist on the other side. Just check out the pictures of the protesters. How many beard you see there? Women and girls are out.Lets duke it out and reclaim Pakistan from these goons of Madrasah and Masjid.
"It is a grave sin to murder idolators and mushriques."
What is grave about it? Why idolaters are afraid of fighting back? Why do they need to beg for their life? I have seen imbecile but India really has them thook kay bhaov.
