#256 pavocavalry {"as u must have noticed i have admired the marhatta guerrilla warriors and th sikhs for destroying the mughals.they were heroes because they fought against the larger and stronger forces."}
Perverts' cavalry,
Shame on you! The Mughals did more for Islam, for India, and for civilization than the hairy murdering reptiles living in the caves of FATA, SWAT, or KASHMIR. Pakistan or India should be so lucky as to get another dynasty like the Mughals.

What makes you think you won't be? Your wet dreams are still wet dreams, you think no one else can kill or be willing to die in a war other than islamofascists? If you do than you are a deluded chutiya.

“I know pavocavalry is not an Islamist, and I admire him for that”
Every single post by him on this board and other boards clearly shows where his sympathies lie. He is admiring non political characters like the Taliban and making criminals elements of FATA as some kind of heroes that are fighting a legit war of independence. He undignified support of the suicide bombing is unqualified.
Pavo is clearly a right wing Jihadi supporter and the rest of the gibberish he writes is just a cover up.
Che is right on the money here!

Namedropping does not make a good argument. The issue really is how much you understand the role of the army in Pakistani affairs. You clearly are attached to some romantic notions that playing card and bridge creates the coteries that go on to pillage a country dry ignoring all the facts about the economic and political interests of the army.
If those writers taught you that bridge playing coteries form the basis of fifty years of control of power and resources and not some common interest then you did not learn any thing from those books.
PS. How about you be more specific as to what your thoughts are about the role of the pak army and its officers class?

#319 Posted by CheGuevara,
I really think you should stand in line for a Canadian Visa.
Or, make a Visa god.
Sincerely,
Zeemax.

Pavocavalry: You want jihadi's to fck up the Kanjaroon Elite, correct? There are many different people who could be accused of being Kanjaroon elites depending on who you ask. Do you mean the politicians and corp commanders? Anybody who drives anything better than a civic? Jeans wearing chix or just any members of the indigenous population who oppose the islamofascists (most of whom do not excersise any real power)?

HP,
Indeed something is amiss. What was earlier simply a sounding off by independent voices like myself for example... an undergrad at Rutgers when I started... has now become some sort of "secret" club of "thinkers", "super intellectuals" and "strategists" who are planning wars and policies and revolutions right here on chowk.
I want the old Chowk back.

The article I was referring to was by Pavocavalry in which he wrote:
The Muslim League at this stage was essentially a party of liberal Muslims with a loyalist past. The sole exception was Mr. Jinnah. He was not a toady, and stood out as a man with an independent views !
Jinnah began his politics as a secular nationalist leader but was discouraged and sidelined by Hindus merely because he was not a Hindu. Jinnah realized in the late 1920s that even the most liberal Muslim was not acceptable to a Hindu majority who carried the psychological burden of a long history of subjugation by Muslim rulers. Thus, Jinnah stressed Muslim identity from late 1920s. He finally emerged as the leader of Indian Muslims by 1938 once both Bengal and Punjab Muslim leaders acknowledged him as the sole spokesman

LOL, yes, mohar bhai, were I playing a *game* that would indeed be the best course to follow, not stick around in the thick of things forever. :)
But I look at politics as an honorable and necessary course for good people, people like you, not something with which to deceive or hurt others. Perhaps chanakya is much misunderstood. Focus is only on raajniti, not blind kootneeti. :)
But at this time I do have to walk away. Later :)

“Justice Court and without consulting the Paki Govt he on his own signed the SEATO Pact !”
I am sorry you are making some hilarious assertions. Sir Zafarullah Khan was not even the Foreign minister of Pakistan when Pakistan signed SEATO. In general, no FM of Pakistan would dare sign any such thing w/o the army permission so what you said about him signing the agreement defies the logic also.

“I would be very careful with some of the off base characters we find on here...”
I agree with that. I think we have some really unsavory characters coming here recently.

Dr. Mohar,
You've always been my friend, so I hope you will listen this time.
KaalChakra is not a moron.
