Forget Taj - we want to claim the KAbba temple that was defiled by Mohammad and had 360 Shaligrams.
The biggest Shaligram is infact the Kabba "Black stone" . Let there be an electronic or chemical analyses of the material on Kabba stone and we would know the reality and then stake claim on Kabba soon!!
Laddu:
What's a shaligram ?. I think it's common knowledge (at least among Muslims) that Mohammad broke the idols of Kaaba and liberated the people from "polytheistic idolatory" to the "rational" religion of worshipping Allah (alter ego of Mohammad) and his camel (borrowed from Hamid).
Good luck in your attempt to reclaim "Kaaba". :-)

VRV,
Incidentally a part of the old Sylhet division is still a part of Assam- the Silchar district and Karimganj sub-division. Sylhettis indeed make very good cooks and are real foodies.
Regards

Dada and Didi,
Sylhat divison was part of Assam and they speak langauage that's diff from Bengali, though the script used by Assamese is Bengali.
The point I want to stress is that Indian food business (of millions of pounds if not billions) was in the hands of Sylhatis. They are super rich than an average Hassan of Bengal. Nevertheless, there's not an iota of envy or a psychological distance btw the two enthnic groups of Bangladesh.
Sylhet was NOT part of Bengal until after the creation of Pakistan but they made quick adjustments and became Bengalis i.e Bangladeshis seamlessly. This is in stark contrast with mojos and Sindhis.
(I totally agree with ur contention abt the similarities btw the two).

VRV, the Sylhetis have always been Bengali. I have an aunt who is Sylheti. They do tend to look more Assamese than the rest of us, I agree.

VRV sahib,
Assamese, Sylhatese and Bong are languages which are not very different from each other. If I am not mistaken they kind of merge into each other. A bit like Urdu and Hindi.
(This kinda unity never came btw Sindhis and Mohajirs. )
Well Mojos were kind of transplanted from hundreds even thousands of miles from their original homes. Sindhi and Urdu are fairly different languages and I guess Mojos became predominantly urban while Sindhis were predominantly rural. Maybe that explains the lack of integration.

HP sain/Others,
It is often a sore point with (some) Hindus that Muslims always speak their own lingo Urdu rather than the native lingo. But it is not universally true. In Bengal, Assam and NE they largely speak Bong, Malayalam in Kerala, Tamil in TN and the rural uneducated Muslim the local bhiayya dialect in Bihar and Eastern UP. In most of the Hindi belt they speak Urdu which is not too different from Hindi. It is I guess in Gujarat, Maharashtra, AP and K'taka that they speak (Deccani version of ???) Urdu which separates them linguistically from local Hindus. As to what extent the Muslims in these regions are bilingual or to what extent it generates resentment I cant say- maybe Cobra or Harishbhai can comment.
(We have some people living in Sindh for the last 60 years and they claim to be educated but still have no idea what Sindhi culture and customs are.)
I presume you are referring to the Mojos. The Mojos who came to Sind already had a very advanced culture and language of their own and indeed their language became the national language of Pakistan. Besides large masses of them settled down in the urban areas and they rapidly outnumbered the urban Sindhi Muslims, who were small in number. So there was no real need or for that matter opportunity for them to learn Sindhi or become very closely acquainted with the local culture.

Yes, HP, South Asians are dirty because of the influence of the dirty central Asians. How come even Burma and Sri Lanka are cleaner? there is a fault line between bangaldesh and Burma. You tell me why that is.

"To make matters worse the mosque in the Taj Mahal premises is in a dilapilated condition with no adequate lighting, security, and maintenance. It is staffed by a single hereditary Imam whose monthly salary is Rs.15."
Nonsense, Taj is NOT a momeen mosque- even your own maulavis have fatwas against going and praying near Taj which is a MAZAAK on the poor people and dhimmi hindu slaves who were made to work for 20 years to build that horrible piece of marble maqbara!!!
Taj is just an example of what muslims with their hindu dhimmi slaves and that is why PAkis have a fascination for it. It is a historical site (even if a reminder of dark ages) under ASI control and not a religious monument even if some mullah or Waqf board tries to 'stake' claim , as part of the Islamist expansionist strategy in India.

This thing is obviously concocted story.
No hindu would mistake kabra as a moorti - unless the guide himself was a muslim trying to talk non sense about 'murtis' on the basis of his ABSURD understanding of the spiritual place of idols and murtis in hindu dharma shastras.
The entire thing is under ASI control and how come these momeens are allowed to use part of it for praying? Infact the ASI should be shooing away these momeens trying misuse the historical monument for their nefarious dawah purposes.
And now a Paki comes and tries to support their illegal use of historical monuments. How about hindus coming to PAkistan and whining about Paki defilements of their old Mohenjodaro, Harappan, Buddhist and Hindu sites and monuments?

Why do most interactors think that Mr. Ayub Khan is from Pakistan? I think he is an Indian.
