Masadi,
"
Spare us the BS please, there is nothing intrinsic to "human nature"- whenever two come together the foundations of society are laid, and thereafter everything is socially determined within the confines of environment.
"
The terms i use are BS because u cannot relate to them. How would it be different from an Anglo? He also cannot relate. After living in India for 100s of yrs u are not different. Today u go to vipassana, dharmashala, sri sri ravishankar u find europeans and american jews and christians in droves making effort to understand dharmas and the language of the scriptures. Asuras are turning into devas. But ur writing is substantiating my categorization. For Rakshasas what works is big Danda.
Ok! even if u have attitude of colonizers for the argument sake use term conquest-er. Does it change my argument?
If Muslim rulers acted just like locals why were they bent upon destroying the roots of Hinduism, their seats of learning? Why did they not build Hindu schools, hindu dharmashalas? Why administration at higher level was in muslim hands? Why there was conversion only oneway? If Islam was egalitarian why large holding of land was with them? feudalism became extreme in muslim rule. that is why shivaji stopped watan system. any way it is futile to argue with u. go on ur charade of elites of wests. what u and Islam has to offer is slavery, ignorance and destitution. u can go in the corner and go on abusing west elite. we know it is fake. given an opportunity u guys will be the worst.
there were 2 muslims in india, one who were ruler, feudal converts for keeping their entitlement and other the craftsman and lower castes. Muslims followed casticism. When they were rulers education was of no value to the upper class muslims. since they had attitude of colonizers, sense of we vs they the ruling muslim elite never cared for education and upliftman of the lower class muslim. come british the language of court and administration changed. since the muslim elite did not value education and had sense of entitlement could not and did not compete for new administrative jobs in 19th century. The lower class/caste muslims had no institutional help for coping with new times. Mulla and the muslim elite had vested interest in keeping them bound to Koran. When Hindu Mahatma Phules were opening schools for women and lower castes among Hindus, muslims were reading only koran. So naturally institutional doors were not open to them ...rather Muslims themselves closed for themselves. May be there is something in the book which makes the believer to do that. or is it the forced conversion, or conversion for reasons other than spiritual is like a rape of the soul ..making one inconfident, fatalistic and devoid of self initiative?
"
Muslims in Pakistan haven't fared much better they escaped the double jeapordy of Hindu blowback and hate but they remained within the colonial subordination model, and their suffering, except for the psychological one)equals that of the Indian Muslims. Were it not for your leftists whom you rail against, as peons of the West you would now be equalling the infrastructure of Afghanistan with a law and order situation like that of Somalia- they gave you a base on which you can now trip over each other in wiping the white man's a$$.
"
Hindu blowback? A. R. Antulay became chief minister of maharashtra in mid seventies for four years. chutya banoed public and went to london to recover Shivaji's sword. Now u ask me population of Muslims in maharashtra at that time? It was about 5%. I remember IIT profs giving preferential treatment to muslim classmate because Muslims were rare on the campus.

Majumdar bhai, why are you so pro-Pakistan and anti-India? You must be the first Indian Hindu I have come across with such sentiments.

Masadi sahib,
(Pakistan and its industrial development and India and its industrial development is in front of you to compare.)
The provinces which constituted residual India were a good deal ahead of the regions that formed part of Pakistan in 1947. And yet in spite of the jihadi mayhem in Pakistan for more than a decade, India is barely ahead of Pakistan in its economic indices. Says a lot about the development model followed in India.
And I will not even go into comparison with Korea which was utterly devastated by 1950 or so.

You have the right to evolve and contradict yourself,no need to be defensive.

Masadi sahib,
(a comprehensive study on Muslims in India- that will tell you about institutional exclusion.)
If you can mail that link, please. Thanks in advance
(regarding MAJ, my problem with him is the catastropic conseqence of what he did to the Muslims of the subcontinent)
Had MAJ (pbuh) been not around, all of them wud have been second rate citizens of a third rate country. Thanks to him, 2/3rd of desi Momins are first rate citizens of third rate countries, the remaining 1/3rd are third rate citizens of a third rate countries.
(What plays to the advantage of the other group within the Muslims that you mention is they have had a resource advantage)
Yup, the Bohris and Ismailis have one resource most other Indian Muslim (or Hindoo) communities don't have- brains!!!
(Were it not for your leftists whom you rail against)
The consequence of years of leftist rule is for everyone to see. After 60 years of independence, India's social and economic indices are only a fraction above the worst sub-Saharan African countries. It is only as India has jettisoned the leftists that India has started a slight upward move.
(as peons of the West you)
Thanks for upgrading me to the status of a respected chowkie veteran like Tahmed sahib. Although I am not sure he will be equally amused to find me compared with him.

Why would I waste my time reading posts by a proven Liar and Hypocrite who can only parrot the same recycled garbage?
