Here we go again, the real reasons are poverty blah blah..

That is the standard line by the pakistanis, who also insist that indians are poorer than pakistanis.

So it is only the religion that matters, according to the paki logic.

Religion is just another ideology that has been exploited to benefit the few, issues raised by the writer are important but not the real reason for society ills.

Good to see some one telling some home truths. It is the emphasis on rteligion that is killing of teh pak civil society. All of the corruption, crime etc which many feel not acceptabl;e are fully OK in pakistan, and one can see no populsr movements against it while the stupid cartoon is bringing the educated to teh streets.

I do hope that jihadis will take over pakistan and sharia will become the law. The TNt version of islam, and the ethnic cleansing that followed 1947 have created an ideal place for teh true islam to flourish.
