Arjun writes "the american dream is to study a completely useless subject like social sciences and get self-published on lulu.com....."
That is exactly how this motivational therapy works, if you study a subject that reveals the "real world" and not the matrix they term it "useless" and if their publication filters cannot filter the material "fit for consumption" of the drugged folk and you seek an alternative route, they ridicule you.....

Treetop asks hamid "What is american dream, can you elaborate? "
The "American Dream" is part of the perpetual mythology of the workman ethic for the purpose of motivation that is pushed from on high to the US working class promising them a lifestyle that most in the US cannot attain because it is a moving target the lowest rung of which is beyond the attainment of the vast majority in the US, and justifying for the sake of status quo that the disparities they see in wealth and lifestyle are only because those that have more "worked for it" and if they similarly work they will attain similar riches.
This keeps the peace, lays blame for failure not on the system that is producing deprivation and disparity in wealth and consumption, but on the individual, his wrong decisions, his not having "the right stuff" or not working hard enough. The concentrated US corprate media has made certian that this motivation for perpetually chasing a dream to keep the machinery of capital going is pushed like opium and people have become completely hooked to it- that is why people returning home to work in our countries even when they are paid relatively higher wages and have greater benefits don't feel fulfilled because that motivation opium, the drug of the "dream" has been taken away....

Kulharee give it up, instead of deliberately masking facts to follow your BS "bong-high" image of USA, teach your kid the truth- i.e. the white man will do his best to keep him subordinate, when he circumvents the institutional hurdles put in front of him- if he does it and only a very select few do, then they will stop him explicitly using force- where the impersonal traps fail (and they seldom do) then the medieval control are employed- this aspect of the US also tells us how little freedom is left in that country. In the past and in "free" societies, when the powers that be try to stop someone they don't have the impersonal institutional traps- ones that trap the very vast majority- to fall back on so they employ the medieval traps (of physical violence) first, the type that by its nature cannot reach the majority because of shortage of control resources- not only is the control more complete in the so-called advanced societies because of such implicit traps, it gives the illusion of politeness and freedom just because when the explicit control is employed it is very limited if at all because the auto system works quite well and quite politiely- don't you note how hamid yelps that the African American young men, a third of whom are in jail or have been through it have only themselves to blame?

hamid writes " stop spewing nonsense to discourage other people are willing to work hard to live the american dream ....... "
Let us get one thing straight, those working hard and not "living" the American dream, at best they are chasing it and like damn fools will keep chasing it all their life without attaining it, people with zero net worth and neck deep in daily living debt, cannot live any dream let alone the "American Dream". You have a problem because the motivation, "propaganda" machine of the US elite doesn't tolerate anyone and anything that might disrupt the fakery of the matrix they have spun

Kulharee writes "Masadi al Baghdadi,"
I am not Baghdadi, very much Pakistani- maybe half a dozen back some of my ancestors might have lived in Iraq according to what my grandfather claims, and before that we all came out of Africa, Kulharee Al Afreekan
Kulharee writes "Don’t they all look the same?"
Yes, but the system needs time to mold them to its pattern, right now the recent immigrants have advantages and a head start, and they have small numbers (as Asian minorities) compared to African Americans and Mexicans for the system to kick in full speed to maintain itself. Give them enough time and the catching up will be top down as they reduce to the level of the indigeneous Chinese and not the indigeneous Chinese raising themselves up to the level of the recent immigrant. Only a certain class can gather enough resources to immigrate and attend "elite" US universities, comparing the "looks of them" to the reality of the indigeneous Chinese American is quite disingenuous...Class advantage can also counter racial disadvantage even for AAs but the system only allows a few to break free from the class trap inherent in race, here the recent immigrants got their class position in another system and so escape that route to attain advantage...

Re: # 156 Even from pakistan rich elites children gone to usa and pick up drinking alcohol and bad stuff. Many are not good and means little spoiled children. Many have deceived me by not paying for teaching retarts mathematics and ran away to usa. They may be drinking more rupees worth alcohol and parties etc but they do not pay people like me , it is sad they forget ladder which helped them to teach usa. Wonder some times why Bilawal , Rahul Gandhi get scholorships at prestigeous UK colleges there is some connection I guess.

HP,
You just got here on H1-b on a fake and padded visa. You still wear pants and shirts bought from some ch-tia bazaar in Mad-ass and talk abt "blaming us". First start buying things from the american stores and find someone to get you a green card and then the citizenship and only after that talk abt "blaming us".)
I take it that is all from your personal experience?
Thank you for the tip but I am American born.
Any other problem HP?
