The whole point behind class oppression is to make sure that "everything is not equal"- by the way there is a difference between "everything remaining constant" and "other things being equal"- learn this difference before you cite studies claiming one thing and you perverting them into another. If AAs are overrepresented in prison and a lower middle class peon institution in the ranks (the US Army), where they were segregated, treated like shit and still are used as fodder because the white man sacrificing a white is much harder to bear for them than sacrificing a black, it says nothing about improvement in race relations. Difference in physical abilities and intellectual abilities exist within a particular race as well between whites of different historically accumulated genetics, environment, nutrition, class and other social factors. There is no clear seperation between physical and intellectual abilities across the races- they all even out once the above mentioned differences are taken into account. Not only do the poor die at three times the rate, bad or non existant nutrition at the early ages interferes with the proper development of the brain, just like in the past the white man emloyed the black man for entertainment purposes, giving him "worth" if his exotic dance and song entertained him or her so we see the same thing reproduced today with black athletes, celebrities and performers. But an important part of that story is never mentioned: when that same Jesse Owens came back to America, he could not drink water from the same taps as whites nor could he sit next to whites in bus. Owens was NEVER invited to the White House (unlike the white olympians) and NEVER bestowed any honors by Presidents FDR or Truman.

Owens wrote that he was cheered enthusiastically by 110,000 people in Berlin's Olympic Stadium and later ordinary Germans sought his autograph when they saw him in the streets. He traveled with and stayed in the same hotels as whites, something he was not allowed in USA.

Some people have problem with figuring out the core of this article. Let me summarize it:

The whole point is that the country is making progress, and it has come a long way from where it was only 40-50 years ago. While other countries are moving backwards in terms of civil and human rights of their minorities, US is moving forward.

most peer reviewed scientific studies of differences in intelligence across the races have concluded that africans are less intelligent than other races. the fact that it is politically incorrect to say so doesn't change the science. the latest person to be vilified for pointing this out was the great dr. watson, nobel laureate and discoverer of DNA double helix.


and this is something which is easy to observe on a day to day basis. you cannot blame 'socio-economic' factors for everything. e.g. some races are physically superior to others and others are mentally superior...c'est la vie.

e.g. scientific studies show that bunnies have the biggest dongs followed by crackers and gooks have the smallest ones with pakis and macacas somewhere in the middle.
