The Ahmediyas did an idiotic thing by pushing for Pakistan - they were stupid enough to think that somehow it will ingratiate them to the hearts of fundamentalist Mussalmans.

It is rather amusing to see certain members of miniscule minorities in Pakistan - too small to even matter in the scheme of that dear land of the mullahs - try to do the same on this web site.

Perhaps it should be called pathetic instead! :((

India is grass eater like elephant and paksian and people are like tigers and lions. But they have different paths in jungle lions keep away from elephants they roar but put tail down and move away to make path. There was real good time to watch artillery of respectully submitted Honorable beharam , YLH and arjun classic bombardment action is missing . I do not like that but some times ok. Actyually arjun may be feeling lonely without heavy weight artillery specialists.

It is kind of interesting to watch certain other "old timers" try to lecture you regarding the shortcomings of the web-site, as if you were a newbie.

If arjun and some of his compatriots are RAW agents, then what does that make you and some of our compatriots agents of -- besides Allah?

And if arjun is half a man because of his extreme dislikes and unbeliefs, then some of our own compatriots are half men because of their extreme dislikes in spite of their beliefs.

We are all hypocrites here of our own device Tahir. And if I did deliver a strong left-hook to arjun, it has had no asar on him whatsoever. if arjun does believe in anything it is in not giving anyone the power to offend, or abuse him. He holds on to this power, and doubly offends those who try. That is far different from you, or I, or a lot of interactors, especially Pakistani ones. At this point, I do not know who is the better, the offended or not offended, but I do know that either way it makes no difference. It equals out in the end somehow.

If you want to continue to fight his "hate-speech" calling him a RAW agent, or anyone else calling him a cockroach is not going to make one bloody difference. I don't pretend to know arjun, but I have been here long enough and talked to him enough to know this: He has no moral ground to stand on. You, supposedly do. And if you wish to continue playing fire with fire, then more power to you. You have already shown to some extent that is not beneath you. Making threats however, on the internet, whether en serio or not only gives him more points, not you.

Ignoring him is best, hard as that is to do.

And one more thing Tahir, blaming the "murtid" owners for the behavior of others is unfair. There has not been a proper moderation system here for years now, and while perhaps the owners who put this together should do something, like maybe disband the site all together if they cannot afford such a system, they are not the only website to be without one. In the end, Chowk owners are not responsible for our actions. We are. So if you do go and make good on your threat against arjun, please be a full man and take the responsibility yourself and not blame it on the owners. :)

Regarding 380, I never understood their logic that taking ones clothes off or presenting porno as art somehow make people less hypocritical. We must have a standard of public decency; apeing west will only make us apes, not less hypocritical.

Dutch cartoonist arrested on suspicion of violating hate speech laws

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — A Dutch political cartoonist is facing possible hate crimes charges.

The cartoonist, who works under the pseudonym Gregorius Nekschot, was arrested Tuesday and held overnight before being released.

Officials say a criminal investigation is continuing into whether Nekschot's work targets people because of their race or religion.

Nekschot is known primarily for cartoons mocking Muslims and leftists.

However, spokeswoman for his publisher describes him as a satirist who targets "any strong ideology."

Nekschot publishes primarily on several websites, including his own. But has also been featured on the Web site of Theo van Gogh, the filmmaker who was murdered by a Muslim radical in November 2004.

The cartoonist also works for HP/De Tijd, a major Dutch language weekly news magazine, and he has published two books.

One recent cartoon on his website caricatured a Christian fundamentalist and Muslim fundamentalist as zombies who met at an anti-gay rally and now wished to marry.

"He was arrested with a great show of force, by around 10 policemen," said the spokeswoman for the publishing company Uitgeverij Xtra.

She asked that her name not be used and declined to give Nekschot's real name because both the cartoonist and the publisher have received death threats.

A spokeswoman for the Amsterdam public prosecutor, Sanne van Meteren, said Nekschot remains a suspect in a criminal investigation.

"We suspect him of insulting people on the basis of their race or belief, and possibly also of inciting hate," she said.

Each is a crime punishable by up to a year in prison under Dutch hate laws - or two years for multiple offences.

Van Meteren said prosecutors were investigating a complaint that dates to 2005. They are now focusing on eight or nine published cartoons, she said, but prosecutors are not disclosing which ones.

Nekschot did not answer police questions during his arrest, she said, citing his right to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination.

The spokeswoman for Xtra said police had seized Nekschot's computer, sketches, CDs, DVDs and telephone at the time of his arrest.

Whether someone asked you to speak on behalf of the Muslims or not, it does not matter. You are speaking what I've been saying all along politely at first, and then sternly, but never abusing their idols or historical figures. But THEY do it five times a day, as if THIS is their prescibed method of hate-prayer!

The CHOWK-owners are to be blamed directly for this one-sided hatred. Instead they warn or ban those who warn!

If more people said the same GOOD thing, things will change. But who can turn agents of RAW into agents of good change? But trying is THE key.

well i guess i know what that means.

this is more than trash talk arjuna. i know i have options, but so do you, and it is really unfortunate that that you refuse to consider them. i mean, in the end, what is really different between you and the way zeemax trashes women or anyone else? I can't even talk to you about moral standing because you don't believe there's such a thing as morality.

In the end, what it really is, is that some of you, mostly men, have an agenda here and nothing else really matters except for your childish idiotic pleasure at making your points. There is such a thing as taking the higher ground, but as I've been reading, men who call themselves good Muslims don't even know what that means.

I mean we all know arjuna, that you can constantly bring up Mo and Aisha, or Mukhtaran bibi, to throw in our faces, but not because you really care about what happens to women or six-year old girls, but only to "trash" Islam and "Pakis". And some of the "Pakis" say that about Indian women as well, hell, even our own, when we go outside of our "hadd" which they have so mercifully given us.

It's more than trash talk arjun. And it's unfortunate that's the only way you see it. And bloody pathetic. Using "the internet is a messy place" is just a cop-out and an excuse for you to be an arsehole.
