There is some exciting word-usage, image-captivity here:
"octagonal verandah...
Polished red oxide floor...
With tiger claws at it’s feet
Clasping a globe"
but I don't understand why you let it go later, and the rhyme-scheme again, why do chowk-poets think that a poem needs to rhyme? It is really not a necessity...let the thought come, and frame its insides. forget decorum!!
