Welcome to the Roman arena Abrar Hasan!

I can see that a midget on stilts (and dressed as a gladiator) has already welcomed you. Soon you will find out who is who out at CHOWK.

The article doesn't say much. Do familarise yourself well with this terrain, if you write at this level, I assure you, the spectators will applaud you.

I'd rather see you write well and get a few marks of a man: wounds in the battle.

Stay on God's path, and never turn your back!

Regards.

ah, it takes two to tango, and tahir mian and cheema sahib partnered up (wisely) a while back.

Abrar sahib, sit back and enjoy the show.

Cheema sahib, your rebuttal please? (note: Tahir's "midget on stilts" is a highly inventive put-down, I expect no less from you)

So, perhaps you would FUNDAMENTALLY agree that idolators like me should be beheaded. No, maulana ji??

author:God, you ask? Well, I pray to the God of the SEARCH FOR PERFECT KNOWLEDGE.

You cannot be a muslim. Never. Our friend Zeemax and his side kick Tahir have said the korn is the most complete book ever writen. follow it it and you do need anything else.

Your author is a false god. You need to be educated.

Mr. Harry Cane,

"and tahir mian and cheema sahib partnered up (wisely) a while back"

When did I team up with a blasphemer? Never! I asked him to stop, re-think, and--finally--aplogise to all Muslims here at CHOWK.

He never did--that's him. This is me...

"Tahir's "midget on stilts" is a highly inventive putdown."

Of course, what do you expect from a creative writer Harry?

Quick, choose whose side are you on; with US or THEM?

Laddu, my 'completely LOST' Motichoor,

"perhaps you would FUNDAMENTALLY agree that idolators like me should be beheaded. No, maulana ji??"

Again you refer to Islamic Ahadith, not the Qur'an (the Torah-Bible for sure!). Nobody touches you my friend--except perhaps your own Brahmin pundit!

Regards.

Chief Ironside,
"Zeemax and his side kick Tahir..."

I operate alone out of an island of giants where nobody can be anybody's sidekick.

"God of the SEARCH FOR PERFECT KNOWLEDGE"

The author must differentiate between the God with perfect knowledge and a god of this 'search'. What a statement!

The author writes "If Max Weber is to be believed, the God of Capitalism comes directly from Calvinism (though I don’t agree with his thesis)."

The process was not "direct", you cannot agree or disagree with something you have in all probability never read, but only heard about. The article is weak, does not define religion or "secularism" and then tries to merge the two. No attempt is made to uncover the master symbols that convert so-called "secular" systems into myth creating factories and no attempt is made to show that attainment of knowledge in religion, where it concerns the Quran is not based on "faith" but on verification through empirical observation and falsification- objective scientific criteria for establishment of premises to operate under, beyond those few mohkam-i.e standard setting, a priori premises, Islam is as secular as any other system, even more so because it does not restrict the person thorugh bureaucratic rules and regualtions to determine best behavior, thus the purpose of life being "to see which one of you is best in doing", there is nothing to "see" if the "doing" is predetermined, that is what the mullahs don't seem to grasp so they have manufactured a whole series of "doings" and validated them as "Islam" just like the myth creating factories of the so-called "secularism" have set into circulation that every peon of the West repeats as if it were words from on high....

Tahir writes "I operate alone out of an island of giants where nobody can be anybody's sidekick."

Beware of the peons of the West they ride together like hyenas and lacking the b@lls to attack lions always wait to strike when the person is not looking. Anil is a famous hyena here, he claims to be from Harvard Business School, writes Hindlish that would put him at the top of his class if he were a grade 4 student in a Bombay middle class school district, but don't tempt him or he'll give you his email address from harvard.edu to prove that he really is from there....

Hyena: Doglike nocturnal mammal of Africa and southern Asia (also found on chowk) that feeds chiefly on carrion...

After every post they make, I am tempted to ask "Who let the dogs out...?"

Mr. Muhammad A. Asadi, as-salamu alaikum,

Interacting at CHOWK served me the same purpose it did to CHOWK-owners: to know what makes real men tick, dogs lick, kangaroos kick, and unbelievers sick.

The psychological profiles of the vultures (without culture) are complete now--thanks to their writhing in pain.

A certain change HAS taken place here, don't you think?

Life is only good if one has faith; life must go on.

Regards.

Tahir

"Quick, choose whose side are you on; with US or THEM?"

Tahir, I enjoy watching you spar here. I relate to some of your worldview, I also relate to some of Cheema sahib's world view.

However, there is no US or THEM

For behind the labels of us and them, behind the angst and the fury, and the different positions etc, there is only one source, one Creator, the essence of love.

I'm with love ;)

Let me switch back to the regular storm system and re-answer :)

[see: many labels, one source ;)]

Tahir sahib,

I may or may not agree with what you post in general (don't know, I don't venture out to FP that much), but I must appreciate the following linguistic acrobatics:

Interacting at CHOWK served me the same purpose it did to CHOWK-owners: to know what makes real men tick, dogs lick, kangaroos kick, and unbelievers sick.

The psychological profiles of the vultures (without culture) are complete now--thanks to their writhing in pain.
