Women live in here and now. That is why they are practical. They are more connected to the state of the nature at that place and at that moment.

If man has to chose a woman for her womb, it has to be based on her wombnessness or femininity.

If women's physical wombs are so perfectly balanced, we expect similar balance in the invisible womb, the earth, the environment, the climate and the society.

When this balance does not exist, as in the desert land of Saudi Arabia, the person born in such harsh environment is harsh to the environment, land and culture of the society. He will be harsh to the wombnessness.

Just as the extreme environment he will be extremist. He will be against womnessness. He will use extreme dogma to rule the society.

Islam is such a harsh and unrealistic dogma. It is definitely not suitable to Indian culture and environment. Islam needs to be Indianized or Hinduized. What do you think?

Re: # 8 Forgot to say Jai Matadi! Jai Durgaji! Jai Kaliji, Jai Bhagwatiji!

I mean it because divinity was bestowed upon first on female form. Trillions of pregnancies happen and billions of things can go wrong in a pregnancy but almost of all happen without a glitch.

Women own the present both time and space or world. Men are guests who bring the new ideas which can move this world into future world.

Female is Prakriti or nature which is in perfect balance ..day and night, dry and wet seasons, heat and cold. The womb is such a perfectly balanced system. That is why women have balanced perspective. They can juggle many activities. Even in love, they are balanced ... you wont find female equivalent of self destructive devdas. Indeed female is full male for a particular time and environment.

Society has high stake in the health of the womb, both in the visible one and the invisible ones such as female emotions, the institutions they are involved eg marriage, their home and their village.

Male bring the new ideas but they can germinate only when this womb is ready and willing.

It's unfortunate that modern female is losing her femininity or wombnessness. We/They need to empower women/themselves but judiciously.

Random thoughts without reading the article!

Re: # 4
Partha....

In general, women are far more matured, disciplined and organised than their male counterparts. At least my work experience in current company is such (from manegarial level to Engineer Grade 1), most of the girls are such. Now, company decided to recruit at least 25% of workforce of each big team from these people....

Good piece.

Women cannot necessarily leave a 5:30 pm...often they leave much later. And the introduction of children shows the sexism of our societies (western or eastern) even more.

Now lets see : why do feminist articles like these have to include some male bashing as well? Inspite of all the complaining, the matter of fact is that women are getting better education and job opportunities today (BPO. for eg.). 80% of new EU jobs since 2000, have gone to females! Plus, their chances of climbing the corporate ladder are much higher, given the 'free style' of living that is becoming very common these days. And yet, females have a vested interest in crying wolf!
