Cultural slavery? Tawaf or what is now known as Hajj was practiced b4 the arrival of Islam. Haqiqa or the shaving of new born children was practiced in Hijaz territory well b4 Islam arrived.

The poor Faris, no idea about what pakistan is about. Take it from me Faris, pakiland is created for islam, it recognizes no culture, even flying of kites is not allowed, because it is not in the book.

There is no way that pakis could celebrate valentines day. They dare not even mention abdus salam. In any country, winner of a nobel prize will have roads and schools named after him, not in pakistan because abdus was an ahmadia.

If that is the prevailing norm, you guys are stupid to have valentines day, and next time what greets you will be some frustrated yougster in suicide belt.

Take it from me Faris, this time you all had an easy time.

Faris,

Since you are 'working at grass roots level in Sindh', what love stories have you discovered in that ancient land, the place that gave our violent ChowQ Islam-bashers their identity?

A sign of cultural slavery: Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day started in the time of the Roman Empire. In ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honour Juno. Juno was the Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Romans also knew her as the Goddess of women and marriage. The following day, February 15th, began the Feast of Lupercalia.

February 14 became the date for exchanging love messages and St. Valentine became the patron saint of lovers. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries.

So there, the mullahs do sometimes hit on the right nail!

Finally, we ought to remember our regional loverboys if need be; who cares what Emperor Claudius II and Valentine started in Rome.
