Thanks for writing article.
Combination of medicines and talking to theropy /consuling is best way. Only one way is inadequate.
Honestly most (99%) today can not afford this treatments. This is not only for mental depression and related things but for even guilt free conditions like heart problems, cancers , blood pressure etc. Even normal diseases like heart , lung with widely needed medicines are out of reach.Person suffering from Asthama to get normal spray for middle class person is not easy. Poor just can not use available medicines. Medicines subscribed for mental health such as abilify, buspar, respiridol , symbalta are simply out of reach for moderate income person. Other problem with above class drugs they need to be take for months to get good help. One way to lower prices is too allow people get medicines from cheap sources like India. There is chances of adultration that can be checked if comanies from there can send consignments to health care facilities at existing rates in India. If tomatoes, potatos come from India same can be done to get these medicines ,that way price controlling domestic monopolies will be tackled. Now at least here medical is not health problem but it is pure economic poverty problem.
Good night

Shoaib, thanks for an insightful article on a not so openly talked about (some might even call 'taboo') subject and bringing it to our attention
