Yes. And I believe one of the reasons for going overboard is because the idea of thinking about him as just another human politician with all his weaknesses and faults is very appealing. If we can make fun of a bearded chap who later got killed in Lal Masjid firing, why not him.

Yeah. You only have to look at the name. Our guy shares the same first two initials with another wonderful chap whose name I temporarily forget. A little blot of hair under his nose and the same capacity of uber self delusion was his hall mark too. They may share the same ailments in other parts of their body as well.

Guess who he is!!!
He is Pakistan's icon for hypocricy. Pir of Fitnas and the most coward politician of Pakistan who can't enter in his own city fearing death and how many deaths are attributed to him including of his best friend and co-founder of MQM - Azeem Ahmad Tariq - for having a opinion difference to this Nazi style Mafia leader.

"On another note though, probably everyone doesn't need to be 'copied' to be made hilarious. Some are gifted with intrinsically embedded systems to be public entertainers without being parodied.
I marvel at the gushing talent though!"
How do I relate your question to my comment?

nadia, leenah:
not that i would ever dream of speaking up for pir sab londonwala, but for honesty's sake which leader in pakistan is not a leader of speeches alone?
i was surprised (and disappointed) to learn that our pir sab has exactly the speaking talent of shaykh mujeeb. frankly, though i didn't bother to listen to him myself, i had much better opinion of the latter's oratorial and leadership abilities. how could the leader of 100+ million bengalis have been such a nincompoop?
frankly, i can't even be paid to listen to 30 seconds of pir sahib's trash; and i am a urdu-speaking karahciite. i guess we r vastly different from the bengalese after all.

Some have the gift of oratory , some don't. It is the latter that need to stand in front of a mirror and rehearse. Nothing bad in it.

I wonder what you smoke!
But on a more serious note, I wish you were more rational in your thinking. One way to do this, I found in a feminist site ( I will be as discrete as possible here ). And here it is : to remember whenever you see any guy, that 99.99%, you would nt see any more of him anyway! That way, you become more rational and fair in your thinking about them! Geesh! When only will males learn these tricks?
;)

Re: # 12
I had this strange dream (actually, a nightmare) the other night. In the dream, Parthab was earnestly entreating "WAKE UP MALES, SPEAK UP!" except he was talking to himself and his gaze was firmly glued to his own mid-region.

It is clear from the adverts issued by the Congress that it sees elections as a time to reap votes of women, as the 'reward' for its Domestic Violence law - set with a 18th century mindset. Any GENUINELY modern party of the 21st century, SHOULD infact be gender NEUTRAL, and have on its agenda :
1. Ragging laws will be implemented strictly. Sexual ragging will be tried as rape.
2. Personal laws will be amended to abolish genital mutilation below 18 years
3. Negative stereotyping of males in Media Advertisements will be monitored and penalised under strigent laws
4. Old age benefits will apply to all, Irrespective of gender
5. 'Divorce benefits' will be abolished and 'alimony' ( a 19th century christian relic ), will be scrapped in Hindu India
6. All fresh recruitments to IT/ITES/air crew/nursing, etc etc., will be strictly monitored for gender bias.
7. 498a and DV will be abolished. Child custody and defamation laws will be framed.
8. No weightage for gender for taxation purpose.
9. Bogus 'research', defaming males, and reports made from womens version alone without verification, and their publishers, to be severely punished under new laws
10. Monetary inducements for young boys and teachers to improve performance in examinations.
These demands, should naturally culminate in the natural plea for a Mens Welfare Ministry.
According to WHO, the DV and 498a acts, are the PRIMARY weapons for elderly abuse in India today! The men maybe innocently asleep. But the Congress is seeking to make financial extortion from males at the ever increassing divorces, legal in exchange for votes from the powerful feminist groupings.
WAKE UP MALES! SPEAK UP!
