It is not good to remember tragic things as they can incite hatred and hate and violence. Some times it is better to forget and forgive. Every group has made bad things. I guess Ms. Khan will like what Bangla Desh is doing ? They are going to UNO for starting crime trials against pakistanis. THis is not good it will expose wounds and brotherly relationaships will go down. Please think about forgiveness and be kind.
Good day.
Good day.

Del,
"Ironically it was the sitting CJ whose planned visit triggered all that bloodshed."
The CJ can't go there, Imran Khan can't go there and he can't sue this fat British asset either, MQM owns the souls of the Karachiites, so what else?
We know who triggered what. Traitors emerge out of barrels or foreign back-pockets, not from their mothers' wombs.

People suffer from selective amnesia for various reasons some can be explained by their pre-conditioned biases and some plain prejudices while some are just ignorant.
Massacre in Hyderabad by the Sindhi extremists, Pukka Qila murder by the late BB Government, mass murder of Mohajirs at the hands of Pathan gangs back in the eighties, or the so-called Government led mass extermination pogroms led by the PPP and PML Governments are these not good enough reasons for outrage? I guess not.
So for all of these self-righteous pomposities expressing their grief and anger, go FCK yourself.

Ironically it was the sitting CJ whose planned visit triggered all that bloodshed. While many lost their lives, judiciary sleeps peacefully in the chambers, awaiting a wave of fresh violence in Karachi. Human blood comes real cheap.

It is not a good memory but it certainly deserves a memorial for those who perished and the shock and pain, the people of Karachi went through. MQM wanted to stop the memorial. They think memory could be erased by their brutal force. These thugs jumped off the Jamaat-e-Islami wagon and took over the city with patronage of the ISI/military of Pakistan. They were used to neutralise the largest urban population of the country into submission of the rulers while their masters fought jihad and imposed Islam over unsuspecting citizens. During Musharraf's rule, they were obediently tied with the rulers. But we must hear how they explain this incident. They claim, it was not the MQM workers that did the shooting on 12th May 2007. Some bullets were fired by G3 military rifles said to be owned exclusively by the military and no one else.

According to tahmed peace is 'satanic' and war in angelic, that is understandable since the worldview of his masters is based on total war, total carnage and a permanent war economy. Since he worships those US elite thugs, he has to consider peace to be the ultimate evil, to be satanic. He is very predictable he is willing to forgive and overlook murder if the murdered and rapist will only kiss the white man's butt. On the other hand he would personally crucify Jesus were Jesus to talk against the war....much like Bush/Cheney did with the entire Roman Catholic child molestation scandal and punishment for them opposing the Iraq war. People like tahmed are the Judas's, the Mir Jafer's of the world....recognize them throughout history, they have left their trail of deception and dirty stench...in hell they will abide forever...

What a difference a few weeks make - no doubt MQM was responsible for May 12 2007. But on April 13 2009 it redeemed itself - when it was the only political party (and with the notable exception of Ayaz Amir) that did not betray the people of Swat by imposing the satanic "Swat deal" on them.
