secondly ,you resent nehruvian socialism.But when i read Ramchandra guha's majestic India After Gandhi,guha said that in the 1950's fabian socialism was the In thing and every nation save umrica followed socialist policies.Besides,india was just free from a british exploitative industrial rape, capitalism was a no no then.......Guha then says that the right time toopen our economy was in the mid 1960's with the fareastern states,and the responsibility fell on mr s g a kandhas but mrs g nationalized banks resorting to populism.

I never realised your posts (#61, 57, 56, 55) were so interesting, that I read them multiple times to enjoy them. They reflect my thoughts (but I must admit you are wittier) and I could immediately connect to them.

Even when the Pakistani army was assaulting its own population in the Swat region, one of the interviewees was blaming India for the trouble saying yeah unn taqaton ki harqat hai jinhone Pakistan ke wajood ko tasleem nahin kiya.
This just goes to show how much prejudice exists among the common and often uninformed people.
What is required is detoxifying the peoples thought processes. Opinions about Pakistan in India are no doubt quite negative but Pakistanis' views of India are more rabid.

Apna Chikna was definitely much better than their Draculla. But still he was ultimate BA (Hon.) He built IITs and thanks for that so that I could have quality basic engineering education. I do not who choded whom. But chikna foolishly raped Indian civilization. He was basically a goomrah emotional good fellow whom I also respect. But he would have learned a lot from the fisherman folks at Brandra creek, esp about family values and how to raise a daughter. Gandhi should have abolished congress (which he wanted) in 1947 and should have made India to have a mobile capital...one year in Dharavi, one year under Hawara bridge, one year in Nagaland, one year in Leh. Then our BA Hons chiknas would have learned real socialism, secularism and democracy.
